Pilgrims TOGETHER on the way towards WYD RIO Itinerary in eight stages from December 2012 to July 2013 We are following a itinerary of preparation for WYD Rio 2013 during the liturgical year, meditating on the WYD theme and encouraged by Pope Francis and reading the messages of Pope emerit Benedict XVI while remembering that we are celebrating the Year of Faith, the 50th anniversary of EVCII and the 20th anniversary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Our heart beats with the local Church and with the universal Church! The structure: a biblical thought on the theme Go and make disciples of all nations! (cfr. 5. 5. Catholic Action Youth Meeting in WYD Rio 2013
6. 6. World Youth Day is not simply a gathering for the young people of the world, but a time to put trust in the world's youth. A calling for the world's youth to come together as one people. For the Catholic Action young people the participation to the World Youth Day is always the contact with what the universality of faith means. We live in the local Church and in the universal Church in the same time!
7. 7. During the WYD we have a concrete experience of the two ones: we participate with the youth of our local Church and we meet young people of other local churches: we are local and universal! The meeting of Catholic Action young people gathered in Rio for WYD 2013 will be a proper time to SHARE, in different ways, faith in Christ, the attachment to the Christian beliefs , the love for the Church and the joy of belonging to Catholic Action family.
