There are 53 species of lorikeets and about 32 sub-species of the Rainbow Lorikeet. At least 13 lorikeet species are considered endangered or vulnerable to extinction.

Sea Otter Habitat California’s small sea otter population has a few natural predators, such as great white sharks and killer whales, but human activity is a great threat to these animals.

Predator, Prey, and Pajamas! Discover some extraordinary inhabitants of the deep with their highly developed senses, amazing adaptations and fascinating ways of tracking down their next meal.
Students Will:•Learn about a variety of ocean animals and try on critter costumes. •Touch animal artifacts and participate in Discovery Chats. •Touch sharks in Shark Lagoon. •Create their own predator activities •Watch a 3-D Movie in our Honda Theater.
