Strengthens muscles and bones. Helps attain/maintain healthy weight. Reduces likelihood of developing risk factors for later diseases, such as high blood cholesterol, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes, thus increasing the chances that youth will remain healthy as adults. May reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
