An energy advisory service service delivers face-to-face, phone and digital advice to help small businesses across Australia understand their energy saving opportunities and more effectively switch energy plans and retailers. 2. An energy benchmarking tool for small businesses to compare their energy spend against their peers. The data which underpins this tool supports a ‘true’ comparison based on business type, location and other relevant characteristics. Who is eligible for advice? Small businesses with between 6 and 20 employees qualify for free advice on how to lower their energy bills and improve their energy efficiency. Services are available to small businesses in all Australian states and territories. From October 2019, small businesses with 5 or fewer staff that have been adversely affected by drought are also eligible for the personalised energy consultation.
