Open up for Q & A - You do not need to be an expert. It is perfectly fine to say, “I

don’t know, but let me find out for you. Let’s talk afterwards.” Use your resources

(handbook, EOPR or EODR, websites).

Present Give-Aways/Prizes

Help people sign-up for their kit!

Tips:

Arrive early – You do not need to be in a rush! It will only make you nervous. Make sure you

have plenty of time to set things up, that you have what you need and that everything is

working properly. Then settle in a take a deep breath.

Keep it simple – You are there to give a good intro to these oils, not teach a college course!

Keep it short & sweet – Don’t talk their ears off. You can share more later if time permits.

Remember – a class doesn’t have to be in a large formal setting. It can also be you sitting

down with 2 or 3 friends at Starbucks or CFA!

Don’t be afraid to mention the business side “Once you start using your essential oils, you

can’t help but to tell others! YL will compensate you for it...”

Make sure they leave with info in their hands and can contact you. Handbook or handout

flyer (see sample flyer)

Have fun and laugh off any “mistakes”. People like to know you are real and it puts them at

ease ; )

Above all, BE YOURSELF!! You are not there to impress them with how great YOU are (which

everyone already knows! :D), but to impress information upon them and how great THESE

OILS are.

Hosting a Virtual Class On Facebook

I. Create the Event on Facebook

1) Invite only – not “Public” and not “Friends of Guests”

Why?

2) Invite the person who sponsored you AND your team!

3) Allow 1-2 weeks to promote event

a) TIMING is everything! Do a convenient time of day and day of the week.

4) Use Lemon Dropper Marketing!

Post the infographic for each oil daily on the days leading up to the event.

a)Make it personal, tell what this oil has done for you personally

b) Keep it simple – focus on oils in the kit

5) Will everyone invited see what I post on the event page?

How Facebook works -

6) Private message the ones you really wanted to attend

II. Making your video

1) ) Make it yourself – smart phone or iPhone, easy to download

2) Keep it brief - no matter what, always include the Young Living difference!

Why? Your target market for your virtual class is…..

3) Make your notes or script. Rehearse

4) Password Protected – YouTube, Vimeo

5) If making a video has you hyperventilating….

Page 5: Business builders workshop final (1)

5

III. Promoting your event

1) Make it look “cool” – Invite only, Lemon Drop Lounge “secret group”, Door prizes, video will

only be posted at THIS time, we will be live to answer questions at THIS time

2) Add your attendees to the LDL before the event

3) Door prizes – Instructions to win only in video, make them easily mailable

- Post a picture of a bath salt

- Give instructions in the video for how to win

4) A special giveaway only shared at the end of the video (optional)

5) Reminding folks by posting it to your status updates

6) Post to your event page and status update at high Facebook traffic times

IV. Night of the event – Fielding questions

1) If new, ask your sponsor or a member of your upline to help

2) Give instructions for posting questions in the video:

“Please click ‘Write post’ on the event page and post your question and we will answer them”

This insures no one question is missed and also gives everyone in the event the chance to

read others questions as well. Also, makes it personal.

3) Give instructions in the video to private message you if they want a kit

a)REPEAT these instructions again on the event page.

b) Have pre-written step by step order instructions ready so you can copy and paste (with a

personal note) when someone messages you and says they want a kit. Huge time saver

FOLLOWING UP

Tell me more about these oils you keep talking about?

You can order them through me. I offer my wholesale prices and order monthly. Or you can become a member/distributor yourself and then you have unlimited access to wholesale prices as well as freebies, bonuses, etc.

Are you familiar with essential oils? I have studied natural/herbal remedies for 12 years and was introduced to essential oils about 7 years ago. I started incorporating a few oils into our natural approach to illness and they helped us. We would regularly use Eucalyptus for chest congestion, peppermint for headaches, tea tree oil for topical blemishes/issues, lavender for calming, etc.

Recently, a friend invited me to a mtg where someone was talking about how versatile these oils are and how well they worked on pretty much everything. I was already sold on the concept of essential oils anyway, so it wasn't a stretch for me to try out the "starter kit" from Young Living. I knew a bunch of people who raved about the quality/purity/potency of YL and I wanted to see for myself. After using a

variety of diff brands of essential oils, I was absolutely blown away at the high quality of YL. A little goes a lllooooong way.

Our family has seen amazing results with these oils. They have blessed us and stretched our natural health and illness remedies to another level.

What comes in the kit? How much is it?

The Young Living Premium Starter Kit comes with 10 oils (from the Medicine Cabinet Makeover sheet I'll send next) in 5ml amber bottles, plus a 10ml StressAway roll-on, plus a diffuser, plus FREE samples, product guide, company literature, etc.

It's $150 for $300 worth of oils/product.

Purchasing the Starter Kit makes you a member of Young Living. Then you can order anything at wholesale prices. There are several advantages of membership which include FREE oils! If you want more info on the benefits of membership, I can send that, too.

*Optional* I am gifting the Essential Oil Pocket Reference Guide ($30 value) to anyone who purchases a kit this weekend. This book is often referred to as the oil bible. Amazing resource!!

Would you like me to add you to the Lemon Drop Lounge? It's a FB group that is such a great resource when learning and using essential oils.

Are you familiar with essential oils? Let me know what questions I can answer.

How to order the Starter Kit:

When you are ready to purchase your Premium Kit go to:

www.youngliving.com

*Click: Member Sign-up.

*Then: Distributor (this gets you access to wholesale prices and the Essential Rewards program if you choose to do that later)

*Enroller and Sponsor number is 1481259 (that's me :))

*Choose the Premium Kit. (NOT the international one).

*Choose an Essential Rewards Kit to be sent to you at the time you choose. OR Bypass Essential Rewards Kits (No, thank you, I’ll sign up later) If you have questions, we can talk more about ER later. It's a really great program!

*If you want to add other oils/products to your order just click "continue shopping" when you get to the invoice screen. And if your order total hits 190PV (not $190 rather 190PV) you will also get the January 2014 Promo = FREE 15ml Lavender and FREE 5ml Idaho Balsam Fir. If your order hits 250PV they'll also give you a $15 product credit available for use in Feb or when you get ready to order again.

Let me know if you have any questions!

After someone orders their kit:

Dear Sweet Friends,

Welcome to the wonderful world of Young Living essential oils!! You've probably gotten your kit by now and fallen in love. Hopefully, you have gotten a Lemon Dropper Booklet via email or a hard copy. It's a great "getting started" tool.

Another fantastic resource is The Essential OIl Pocket Reference Guide, 5th Edition. I have a few left from a bulk order I went in on. My cost is $20 if you want one, just let me (or the person who helped you order your kit) know. Also, The Lemon Drop Lounge facebook group is a GREAT resource. You can search that site by clicking the top right magnifying glass and typing a key word(s). And, finally, another wonderful website is www.oil-testimonials.com. You have to register, but it's a free site. It's a great place to see what oils have helped for certain ails.

Did you know that when you ordered a starter kit you became a member of Young Living? I have shared this with several of you during your order process, but wanted to reiterate the unique advantages of membership.

1) You get FREE oils in two different ways. Each month they run a "bonus". If you order a certain amount in your order (this month December 2013 it was 190PV, 250PV and 300PV) you get free products. So, I placed an order on my account for myself and several others. I reached over 300PV so I will get a FREE 15ml Thieves, a FREE 15ml Christmas Spirit, a $20 enrollment voucher to share with a friend/family and Slique Slim caps! Not a bad deal!

Page 8: Business builders workshop final (1)

8

2) The other way I get free oils is by having an Essential Rewards (ER) account, which is an autoship program. It is a free program, but actually rewards YOU for joining. Autoship might sound weird to some folks, but Young Living makes it super easy and painless :)

Check this: You sign into Essential Rewards (ER) through your virtual office. Once you get the account set-up, you add items to your cart as usual. The great thing is you can change your products **each month** and also change your ship date **each month** AND you can cancel at anytime with no hassles (just redeem your Reward Points first so you don't lose them!). AND you can skip one month in a calendar year without losing your Reward Points. You just call them up and tell them you need to skip that month and your Reward Points carry over to the next month.

All ER orders require a minimum purchase of $50/ or 50 PV each month (this has never been a problem for me ;). But then you earn a percentage of each PV (10%) tallied in points. So this month's order earned me like 30 points. These are 1:1 points for dollars. So, basically, I have another free oil of choice for $30. All I have to do is call-in to Young Living and tell them I'd like to redeem my points! After doing ER for 6 months the reward points bump up to 15% back and at 12 months it is 20%.

The ER reward point point system keeps accruing.. So, let's say I want a big bottle of Frank and it's $70+, I can wait til I have enough points to get it free. Reward Points must be used within 12 months of accrual. (AND through ER the shipping rate is fixed at $6.98.)

You start earning Reward Points immediately, but must be on ER for 2 months before you can start redeeming them. This is why you keep hearing me say, "When you get ready to order again, let me know, because I want to talk you through the Essential Rewards program"... FREE OILS! (Side note: If you have any interest in doing the business side of Young Living your order needs to be 100PV monthly to earn certain bonuses and unilevel commissions. Let me know if you want details about working it as a business/income)

3) And finally, You get unlimited access to wholesale prices…forever, as long as you spend 50PV annually. Your membership remains active just by ordering 50PV each year. Think Costco or Sam's. It's basically a membership fee, but you get products along with it.

So, "welcome to the club!". et me (or the person who helped you order your kit) know how we can help you as you embark on your Young Living Essential Oils journey. If we don't have the answer we can look it up for you or point you in the right direction.

Warmly,

~Cristy Jenkins

Monthly Promos:

Hello friends,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! How about ringing in 2014 with FREE oils? Did you know every month Young Living runs a promotion? When anyone orders 190PV in a *single order*, you qualify to receive the FREE oils for that month. If someone hits 250PV you get the FREE oils plus another bonus prize!

January's Promo at 190PV is a FREE 15ml Lavender and FREE 5ml Idaho Balsam Fir. If you hit 250PV in January you'll get the 2 FREE oils plus a $15 product credit to be used in Feb or after, when you order again. As an added bonus, if you place your order through your Essential Rewards account and it hits 300PV, you also receive an additional 10% back in Reward Points. So that’s a total of 20% back in Reward Points= $60 in free oils! (Let me know if you want more info about Essential Rewards!)

So how do you get to 190 PV? Every oil you purchase has a product value (PV). For example: Thieves is $33.75 and has 33.75PV. ALL oils have a PV and most of the other products in the catalog do also, with the exception of some accessories and some diffusers. In order to qualify for the promotion each month you must hit 190PV or 250PV or 300PV in **a single order**.

One easy way to secure your promo each month is to open your order to friends and family. Some folks just want to try an oil or two. Offering your wholesale prices can be an affordable way for them to try YL essential oils. Let's say I have a couple of friends who want Thieves and a neighbor wants some lavender and my mom wants the weight loss oils. My order just jumped up to about 140PV! Well, since I have no problem making up the difference on my own with oils I need personally, BOOM! I've hit 190PV very easily. FREE OILS, y'all!

Since I have been a member of Young Living, I have qualified for 2 FREE 15 ml DiGize, 2 FREE 5ml Eucalyptus Blue, a FREE 5ml Clarity, a FREE 10ml Valor roll-on, 9 FREE Thieves hand-sanitiers, 3 FREE small Thieves sprays, 2 FREE 5ml Myrrh, 2 FREE Cinnamon Bark, 4 FREE 5ml Frankincense, 2 15ml Thieves, 2 15ml Christmas Spirit and 4 FREE $20 enrollment vouchers and I’ll hit this bonus too! What a blessing!

My orders have gotten so big by ordering for others, that I have even placed a 250-300PV order through my Essential Rewards (ER) account and 250PV on a regular order just to get another monthly bonus! Not to mention the reward points I accrue by ordering through ER. ;)

To see the January 2014 Promo check out the link below. And if you have have questions (or need help signing up with ER) please let me know. :)
