Team Event

There will be a National Team score based on the results of all three competitions accord-

ing to:

Middle & Long Distance: The two best results (positions) from each nation and class will

positions will be multiplied by 4.

The National Team with the lowest sum after the three competitions will win the National

Team results and will be crowned Junior European Cup Team Champions 2018.

Punching system

Sport-Ident SI-Air (SIAC) punching system will be used in all races.

SIAC-cards can be rented at the event office for CHF 5 for all races. After the long dis-

tance they have to be returned at the event office.

Gps tracking and live results

See http://www.tulospalvelu.fi/gps/ and http://results.picotiming.ch for all JEC races.

Spectator races

Travelling and general Location

Transport

Please note that the teams need to organise all transport by themselves, except the

transport to Sunday’s long distance from Villars to Col de Bretaye.

Car / mini-bus rental companies are available in the airports and in all major towns.

Public transport is well developed in Switzerland. To and from Villars-sur-Ollon, regular

train / bus connections exist to all competition and training sites. For a few persons, pub-

lic transport might be a convenient solution, however be aware of expensive ticket

prices. For large teams, rental cars / mini-busses might be more economical.
