Compact, intelligent, and easy to use, the RM-P2580 CCTVsystem remote controller gives you virtually unlimitedcontrol over a network of eight TK-C675B CCTV camerasconnected by up to 1.2 km of communication cable. It lets you select and control the operation of individual cameras — tilt, pan, zoom, focus, and iris. But, its real power lies in a range of automatic operations from Auto Panning and Sequential Switching to Auto Patrol. There is even an Auto Alarmoperation, which you can set up to interrupt pre-programmed operations and view the scene where an alarm is activated. A comprehensive selection of input/output terminalsalso lets you add additional monitors, time-lapse VCR, and other peripherals to furthercustomise your CCTV system. Best of all, the compact RM-P2580 remote controller lets youinstall a multi-component CCTV system at a fraction of the price of previous systems.

Built-in PAN, TILT, and ZOOMControlsThe RM-P2580 lets you select any ofeight JVC TK-C675B cameras itcontrols in a surveillance network.Then, using push-buttons and joy stickyou can control pan, tilt, and zoom toscan an area or focus on a specificaction. You can also fine-tune picturequality using Focus and Iris controls.

Auto PanningUsing the remote controller, you canprogramme automatic panningmovements of individual cameras. A camera set up for automatic panning constantly patrols the areaunder surveillance with low-speedhorizontal camera movements betweentwo designated points at a constanttime interval.

Auto Sequence ModePress the Auto switch and the RM-P2580 enters the Auto SequenceMode. Using a built-in sequentialswitcher the controller sequentiallydisplays the images captured by anetwork of up to eight CCTV cameras.The cameras are selected in presetnumber order with images displayed fora fixed period.

Auto Patrol ModeThe Auto Patrol Mode provides threePreset Sequence Mode settings and64 presettings for surveillance coverageof a designated area by random orsequential panning. So you can set uphigh-speed camera movementsbetween multiple pre-set positions inthe sequence and the time intervals of

your choice. You can also use thisfunction for individual or multiplecameras.

Auto Alarm OperationOperation of the RM-P2580 can beinterlocked with peripheral alarmequipment connected through Data I/O Terminals at the back of theunit. The user can then select operationin either Alarm Priority or ManualPriority mode. With the Alarm Prioritymode selected, the controller interruptsthe programmed operationautomatically at the shot by the camerafor which the alarm signal is received.The controller also issues visual andaudio alarms, while indicating thecamera ID number on the CameraDisplay. In Manual Priority mode onlythe camera ID is displayed with alloperations remaining unaffected.

Input/Output TerminalsThe RM-P2580 is equipped with a fullrange of input/output terminals. Theselet you hook the controller up to a bankof eight monitors, with one monitorallocated to each camera, as well asalarm equipment and time-lapse VCR.The unit’s RS-485 Connection allowscascaded connection of cameras.

Area TitleThe RM-P2580 also takes advantageof the Area Title function of the TK-C675B. This innovative functiondivides the space covered by a camerainto 16 units, with a 16-character IDallocated to each unit. At the touch of abutton you can accurately position thecamera to view a designated area.

Key Lock FunctionActivating Key Lock disables the joystick and operating push-buttons onthe control panel to prevent operatingerrors.

RS-232C InterfaceThe RM-P2580 comes with an RS-232C terminal to allow controlexternal components.
