BTS Biogas Srl/GmbH Company Overview


BTS Biogas, is active in the design, engineering and construction of turnkey or modular biogas power plants with a rated capacity of 50 kW to 1.5 MW+. With an experience of more than twenty years, BTS has built 170 plants with a total capacity of 134 MW. With its full-service contracts, the company offers a complete package for operators comprising maintenance, servicing and biological optimization. BTS’s activities cover the entire value chain, from biomass cultivation to the use of digestate. BTS Biogas engineers plants that make exclusive use of agricultural residues such as wheat, rice or corn straw, manure, landscaping material and organic wastes. The company has 120 employees (biologists, technicians, chemists and agronomists) committed to product development and enhancement at BTS Biogas. Their competence and over twenty years of experience in the energy sector make TS energy GROUP, to which BTS Biogas and GTS Syngas are affiliated, Italy’s biggest operator for one-stop shopping in the field of biogas.

• 20 years of experience in building and operating a large numbers of plants

• Pre treatment of substrates (raw materials) with BTS “BIOaccelerator” allows to use various different substrates at high yield

• Continuous monitoring (online) of the digestion parameters in combination with the use of the Dina METAN software allows at any time to calculate the optimum available feed stock addition to the reaction in process

• This allows to guarantee performance of 8000 hours per year production at full capacity
