College is very different from school and it has

helped me mature and get my head down whereas at

Reading around the subject is important, doing independent research and increasing your knowledge will help you to achieve the

higher grades.

You can quote directly from textbooks, magazines,

websites, journals and other documents as long as you reference them and include them in your bibliography.

Use a variety of types of texts to reference in your work, it

will give you a wider understanding of the topic and

show that you have worked independently to improve your

own knowledge.

Don’t copy work from other student’s, and

don’t lend anyone else your work - plagiarism is something we take very

seriously.
