Reading around the subject is important, doing independent research and increasing your knowledge will help you to achieve the
higher grades.
You can quote directly from textbooks, magazines,
websites, journals and other documents as long as you reference them and include them in your bibliography.
Use a variety of types of texts to reference in your work, it
will give you a wider understanding of the topic and
show that you have worked independently to improve your
own knowledge.
Don’t copy work from other student’s, and
don’t lend anyone else your work - plagiarism is something we take very
seriously.
If you are unsure of any of this, please ask one of
the teachers – we’re here to help!
