GRINDING PROCESS centrifugal force applied by rollers to an inner static ring

From PM30 upwards the motor is positionned directly underneath the mill.

CLASSIFYING

For any type of grinding process, it is necessary to separate the coarse particles from those that have reached the required fineness. This process is known as CLASSIFYING.

For particles from 0.3mm to 5mm, CLASSIFYING can be carried out by screening or sieving.For smaller particle sizes, an AIR-CLASSIFYING DEVICE is necessary, from the following;

Double-cone type static air classifier

Suitable for 600 to 40 microns. Based on air expansion and centrifugation.

• Single-cone type static air classifier

• Double-cone type static air classifier

• Dynamic Dynair air classifier

• High efficiency (third generation) classifier

Suitable for 600 to 30 microns.Based on air expansion and centrifugation.

High-efficiency classifier (Third Generation)

Suitable for 800 to 20 microns. Based on air-centrifugation and density expansion with a classifying yield of up to 95%. Possibility of pulling oversized particles out of the grinding chamber and enriching the ground product by eliminating the unground or ungrindable particles.

SIMULTANEOUS GRINDING AND DRYING

Air-classifying enables the grinding of raw materials with a relatively low humidity content without the need for preliminary drying.The ventilation circuit installed with the roller mill creates ideal conditions for fast moisture removal by :

DUAL GRINDING/DRYING PROCESS dries smaller particles faster

AGITATION Vapour film swept from moist particles by volume of air & high gas velocities
