SituationBromasaig forms part of the Knoydart Penisula, isrenowned for its outdoor pursuits including walking,fishing and sailing. The scheme has beenapproved by the Forestry Commission Scotland. Thebottom third of the area has established very well, themid slope is establishing but would benefit fromcontinued fence maintenance and the high ground isdeveloping slowly and will need ongoing fencemaintenance and/or deer management to fully establish.

The woodland comprises a proportion of naturalregeneration, new planting of birch, rowan, oak, andrestocking existing native woodland by naturalregeneration.
