    **ATTENTION: TWS FAMILIES**

We continue to have children and adults in The Williams

School who are exhibiting symptoms of the norovirus. These

symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and

abdominal pain. The best way for us to defend ourselves

from this illness is through pro-active steps. These include

personal hygiene, keeping common surfaces sanitized, and

removing infected individuals from the main flow until they

are not contagious. For those reasons we are:

Including information below from the CDC and theVDH on preventative steps to take.

    www.cdc.gov/norovirus/preventing-infection.html,www.vdh.virginia.gov/Epidemiology/factsheets/pdf/

    Norovirus.pdf.

Continuing to detail clean our school with sanitizingcleaning agents.

Directing students who have been infected to notreturn to school for a full 24 hours after they have

    been symptom free.

While we recognize that missing school is difficult on

everyone we appreciate your support as we work through

    this stressful time.
