LINEAR SHALE SHAKER

It is proved in practice that the drilling mud is very important in the drilling process, similar as the blood for the

human being, while shale shaker is the first phase solids control equipment in the solids control system, which

plays an important role in the performance of the solids control system.

In order to meet the strict modern drilling requirements, Brightway design and develop the new generation of

shale shaker according to the domestic and foreign drilling site operating conditions.

VFD SHALE SHAKER

VFD shale shaker is short for Varied Frequency Driven Shale Shaker. It is the first-phase solids control equipment

in the drilling fluid solids control system or drilling waste management system. It processes and separates the

solid particles bigger than 76 microns in the drilling cuttings which are brought out by the mud back out from the

well mouth. VFD shale shaker reduces the working pressure of second, third, and forth phase equipment, and

VACUUM DEGASSER

Vacuum degasser is the second phase solids control equipment in the drilling mud recycling system to get rid of

the invasive gas in the drilling fluid. It plays an important role to return mud proportion, stabilize mud viscosity

and reduce the drilling cost in the drilling process.

In the operation, with the principle of negative pressure by the vacuum pump, the drilling fluid goes into the tank

body and under the rotating of the rotator, the harmful gas separated from the liquid and discharged by the

negative pressure.

It also can be used as a high power agitator and applicable to oil and gas drilling system or CBM drilling system,

etc.

MUD CLEANER

Mud Cleaner is the third phase solids control equipment in the solids control system, which is the combination of

the desander, the desilter and the underneath shale shaker. With the solids separation by mud cleaner efficiently,

it is the precondition for the work of the fourth phase solids control equipment-decanting centrifuge.

Desander is the third phase solids control equipment in the drilling fluids recycling system, and it can be

combined with desilter for the drilling fluids treatment. The most common desander cone is in 8” or 10”,

DECANTING CENTRIFUGE

Decanting Centrifuge, also called decanter Centrifuge, is the fifth phase solids control equipment in the solids

control system, located behind mud cleaner, or desander&desilter. By the centrifugal sedimentation principle, it is

to separate the solids above 2-7μm from the drilling fluids in order to balance the viscosity and proportion of the

drilling fluids, or to recycle the barite saving the drilling cost.

It is widely used in oil and gas drilling, CBM drilling, and environmental waste treatment. .

According to different speed, Brightway produce lower speed decanting centrifuge, middle speed decanting

VERTICAL CUTTING DRYER

Brightway rugged, continuous Vertical Cutting Dryer is fed via screw conveyor, vacuum system, or rotary-lobe

solids pump from the flow-line shale shakers. Drill cuttings are fed into the jet mud hopper(hopper), and

distributed along the inner wall of the screen with the aid of the rotor.

The liquid phase, or “filtrate”, passes through the screen openings while the vertical scraper with sintered

tungsten carbide tiles scrape the accumulating cake solids towards the bottom of the Vertical Cuttings Dryer for

disposal. The filtrate gravity flows into a containment tank and pumped to a high speed decanter centrifuge.

Upon discharge, the dried cuttings are then safely discharged to the environment, are collected for further

treatment or off-site disposal. Brightway`s rugged, continuous Vertical Cutting Dryer significantly improves liquid

phase recovery, thereby paying for itself.

Vertical cutting dryer could be regarded as a vertical centrifuge, the discharged cuttings transfered by the auger

get into the Vertical cutting dryer from the opening on the top, under the function of centrifugal force produced

by rotation of the screen module. Liquid flow out from the opening at the flank side while the solids discharged

out from the outlet at the bottom of the cutting dryer. The discharged solids water content is around 30%, that

means there is no flowing water, so it could be transported easily.

SHEAR PUMP

Shear pump is used to effectively mix and hydrate material added into drilling fluid. With large capacity, high lift,

and long reliable service life, the shear pump can speed up dilution and hydration of polymers to have high

property mud.

In the drilling fluid, due to no shear, the polymer will produce a lot of “fish eye”. These “fish-eye” will damage the

formation, then the formation permeability decreases, and the production of oil and gas reduces. Therefore poly

mers need preliminary shearing, then flow into the drilling fluid system, improving the performance of drilling flui

d and fully playing its role .Shear pump can provide very high shearing efficiency, accelerate polymer dilution and

hydration process.

MUD AGITATOR

Mud Agitator is widely used in the mud solids control system.

Mud Agitator is used in mud systems to suspend solids and maintain homogeneous mixture throughout the

system. A mechanical agitator is driven by an explosion-proof motor, coupled to a gear box that drives the

impeller shaft. The impellers (turbines) transform mechanical power into fluid circulation or agitation. The

objective is to obtain a uniform suspension of all solids.

Brightway mud agitator features a “C” face motor couple to a rugged oilfield gearbox, which eliminates misalign

ment and troublesome couplings. This configuration promotes long motor and gearbox bearing life.

MUD GAS SEPARATOR

Mud Gas Separator is commonly called a gas-buster or poor boy degasser. It captures and separates large volume of free gas within the drilling fluid. If there is a “KICK” situation, this vessel separates the mud and the gas by allowing it to flow over baffle plates. The gas then is forced to flow through a line and vent it to a flare.

A “KICK” situation happens when the annular hydrostatic pressure in a drilling well temporarily (and usually relatively suddenly) falls below that of the formation, or pore, pressure in a permeable section downhole, and before control of the situation is lost.

Mud Gas Separator is a special equipment to handle the invaded gas of the drilling fluid. Density and viscosity of the drilling fluid will greatly be influenced by the invaded gas. In some dangerous situation, it can lead to the accident of well kick or blowout. The combination of mud gas separator and flare ignition device can effectively handle the invaded gas. Mud gas separator is widely used in the global oil & gas drilling industry.

CUTTING BOTTLE CAP

BWCBC series cutting bottle cap is a storage device mainly for cement or barite powder for oilfield and mining.

The device can finish the filling and unloading operation for cement and barite power, which minimizes tank

quantity for the cement and barite powder especially in the condition of limited space requirement.

The cutting bottle cap adopts pneumatic conveying working principle, powered by compressed air, with the help

of the gasification device to make the dust material fluidization, then use the pressure difference between tank

inside and outside to discharge the material out of the storage tank.
