Eastern Cape – Transfers/Relocation Dispute declared – Div Comm’s Stander and

Nchwe visited province on 17 and 18 March 2003 – the dispute was resolved

Non adherence to implementation plan – in the meantime resolved

DTT Organized labour demands access and opportunity to

make input on all placement proposals before ratification by Provincial/Divisional Commissioners – Management do not agree.

Media Campaign Solidarity is seeking a court interdict to set aside the

Resolution. The case will be heard on 10 April 2003 in the Labour Court, Johannesburg.

They are however not a role-player in the implementation process and uses Resolution 7/2002 as a marketing tool for their own benefit
