Masterplan Consulting Sdn Bhd with her husband, Dato’ Haji Ahmad Faris Haji Abdul Halim. Born in July 7, 1964. Dato’ Haji

Ahmad Faris had his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 1987 before obtaining

a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2005. He started working as a system analyst, then as a lecturer in UTM before

shifting to a higher position in Sapura. He created Yayasan Al-Hilmi in 1999 and Baitul Al-Hilmi in 2011 to aid orphans and

children in order for them to have better education and better life.

Born in August 13, 1968, En Alyasa’a studied ACCA in Emile Woolf

College of Accountancy, London after completing his BSC (Hons.) of

Combined Studies (Accounting Law) in Leicester Polytechnic UK. Prior to

all that, En. Alyasa’a took a 1st Year UK Professional Accountancy Course

in MARA College of Higher Education. He had worked in the East Coast

Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) as the Senior Manager

of Finance after resigning from the position of Senior Manager Corporate

Development of UEM Group Berhad. In 2013, he joined Masterplan as

the Chief Financial Officer whereby his duties are to oversee and direct

Masterplan’s financial goals, objectives and budget.

Scope of Procurement Manager • Requests for Proposal • Requests for Quotation • Purchase OrderThe Procurement Section will monitor and ensure the purchase is within the budget and approved by the respective Level of Authority.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICEOur PMO aspires to institutionalise and presents economical implementation of tasks. We specialise in the documentation, direction and gauging administrational acts and execution.In Masterplan Consulting Sdn Bhd, our PMO utilises the PRINCE2 administration based on industry-standard systems.

PMOs may take other roles beyond principles and procedures. Additional conducts may incorporate checking and writing about dynamic tasks and portfolios (from ventures until fruition), plus

reporting progress to top administration for key choices on what actions to proceed with. The level of control and impact that PMOs have on activities rely on the type of PMO structure of the project.

The degree of control and influence that PMOs have on projects depend on the type of PMOstructure within the enterprise; it can be: • Supportive; with a consultative role. • Controlling; by requiring compliance for example. • Directive; by taking control and managing the projects.

In 2013, the division complied with Information Security Management System (ISMS) and being certified ISMS ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Currently we have 6 Certified Project Managers with PRINCE2 and 3 of them had attended the PMP Master of Certificate.

LEGALThe Legal Division was established in 2012. Strives to provide reliable legal advice and opinion to the organisation, the Legal people report directly to CEO, COO and CFO on matters pertaining to ongoing, new and incoming project (the legal side, risks and implications of it – as and when required). Liaising with external lawyers is also one of the scope of this division.

Moreover, Legal Division also takes care of drafting, vetting, and reviewing the agreements, ie; Non Disclosure Agreement, Teaming Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, Shareholders Agreement, Partner Agreement, Service Level Agreement. Liasing closely with the Company Secretary, Finance are required to attend meetings and negotiate on the terms and conditions to suit the mandate given, as well as handling the documentations of subsidiary and associate companies of the parent company.

HUMAN RESOURCEThe key role of Human Resources Division is to be a Strategic Human Resources business partner to the organisation. Being a business partner means HR has to understand the company’s business, competitive advantage, core competencies, strategies and goal.

Human Resources had also aligned its strategies and initiatives to support the company’s business ambitions in its positioning strategy. Despite that, Human Resources will be the anchor player in driving the organisation’s strategy and creating results through people.

Human Resource’s effectiveness has to do with aligning competencies and quantifying deliverables result to supporting the business strategies.

FINANCEOur Finance people strive to ensure that the accounting standards and procedures as well as the internal process flow are complied with the daily routine of operational activities. This division responsibles to provide accurate, timely, detailed, and complete reports for performance measurement, management review and decision making to ensure compliance to statutory requirements e.g. audit and tax. Furthermore, we utilises available fund and highlight on the cash deficiency to certify that all costs incurred for projects are within the projected margin. Last but not least, the Finance people also work to perform financial evaluation for Masterplan’s potential and existing projects.

CORPORATE AFFAIRSCorporate Affairs handles remote or internal communication. Connection at all levels and for each applicable issue is centralised via key gatherings to influence the business. Organisations have the capacity to influence results to support them. This is accomplished
