Note from Admin: Beagle Families!

Happy May! We are in the final stretch of the school year with

just a few short but busy weeks left. Our fourth graders have

finished their LEAP 2025 assessments, the fifth graders are

currently testing, and our third graders begin next week. The

students have been giving 110% and working hard to show all

they have learned this year. Those students who work hard,

arrive at school on time, are present each day, and follow our

BARK expectations will earn LEAP FEST at the end of the

month! Our PK-2 grade students are also completing their end

of the year post assessments to show they have mastered the

grade level skills. We know they will finish

#BRIDGEDALESTRONG.

May is also Teacher and Staff Appreciation Month. Please join

me in celebrating our amazing Bridgedale teachers and staff

who have been rock stars during this challenging year and

meet the needs of each and every student (virtually and

traditionally). These teachers and staff members have helped

your students accomplish so much this school year and they

deserve to be celebrated each and every day.

Our last full day of school is Monday, May 24th. The students

have two half days, Tuesday, May 25th and Wednesday, May

26th with early dismissal at 12:05pm. Report cards will be

mailed home on Friday, May 28th. Thank you for helping your

student succeed during this very unique school year. Your

partnership with us has made all the difference in the

world...we couldn't do this without our amazing students and

families! I hope everyone has a safe, happy, and relaxing

summer!

Nota de la Administracion: Familias Beagle!

¡Feliz Mayo! Estamos en el tramo final del año escolar con sólo unas

semanas cortas pero ocupadas. Nuestros cuarto grados han

terminado sus evaluaciones LEAP 2025, los de quinto grado están

actualmente en exámenes y nuestros tercer grados comienzan la

próxima semana. Los estudiantes han estado dando el 110% y

trabajando duro para mostrar todo lo que han aprendido este año.

¡Aquellos estudiantes que trabajan duro, llegan a la escuela a tiempo,

están presentes cada día, y siguen nuestras expectativas de BARK

ganarán una celebración de LEAP al final del mes! Nuestros

estudiantes de grado PK-2 también están completando sus

evaluaciones de final de año para mostrar que han dominado

habilidades de nivel de grado. Sabemos que terminarán #FUERTES

de BRIDGEDALE.

Mayo es también Mes de Apreciación del Maestro y del Personal.

Por favor únase a mí para celebrar a nuestros maravillosos

maestros y personal capacitado de BRIDGEDALE que han sido

estrellas de rock durante este año desafiante llenando las

necesidades de cada estudiante (virtualmente y tradicionalmente).

Estos maestros y miembros del personal han ayudado a sus

estudiantes a lograr tanto este año escolar y merecen ser

celebrados cada uno y todos los días. Nuestro último día completo

de clases es el Lunes 24 de Mayo. Los estudiantes tienen dos días de

medio dia, Martes, 25 de Mayo y Miércoles, 26 de Mayo, con salida

temprana a las 12:05pm. Los boletines de sus notas se enviarán a

casa el Viernes 28 de Mayo. Gracias por ayudar a su estudiante a

tener éxito durante este año escolar único. Su asociación con

nosotros ha hecho toda la diferencia en el mundo... ¡No podríamos

hacer esto sin nuestros increíbles estudiantes y familias! ¡Espero que

todos tengan un verano seguro, feliz y relajante!

LEAP Kickoff Celebration!!!

Celebrando inicio de leap!!!

Pre-KPre-K students are continuing to practice the skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten next year - identifying letters and their sounds, beginning to write words, recognizing numbers and shapes, counting, beginning addition and subtraction. We arealso looking forward to summer and being able to spend time with our families.

KindergartenIn Kindergarten, the students are wrapping up a fantastic year of learning! They have been watching caterpillars turn into butterflies and they’ve been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. In reading, students are learning how to read short stories and practicing rhyming words! During math, they have been doing number bonds with teen numbers and breaking numbers apart. Lastly, in science students are learning about natural resources. Kindergarten students, we are so very proud of you this year! By: K’Lynn Padgett

Pre-KLos estudiantes de Pre-K continúan practicando las habilidades necesarias para tener éxito en Kindergarten el próximo año - identificando letras y sus sonidos, comenzando a escribir palabras, reconociendo números y formas, contando, comenzando suma y resta. Estamostambién esperando el verano y poder pasar tiempo con nuestras familias.

Kindergarten¡En kindergarten, los estudiantes están terminando un fantástico año de aprendizaje! Han estado viendo a las orugas convertirse en mariposas y han estado aprendiendo sobre el ciclo de vida de una mariposa. En la Lectura, los estudiantes están aprendiendo a leer cuentos y practicar palabras de rima! Durante las Matemáticas, han estado haciendo enlaces numéricos con números de adolescentes y aprendiendo a separar números. First GradeFirst grade is rounding of the year by writing personal narratives in ELA. They are also studying American Independence in CKLA. In math, they are beginning 2 digit addition with different strategies, using Eureka Math. Finally, the unit students are studying in STEMscopes focuses on sound. Many exciting things are happening in First grade and it’s hard to believe that it is coming to an end. By: Osamaidy Lopez

Second Grade

WoW! It’s hard to imagine another school year ending. To finish out, Second graders are learning about resources, goods, and services during Social Studies class. In Math, students are identifying how coins are making a change! Lastly, in ELA, 2nd grade is learning about immigrants and how they travel to new countries. The students are looking forward to summer and becoming 3rd graders! By: Akon Ramos

First GradeEl Primer grado está redondeando el año escribiendo narrativas personales en ELA. También están estudiando la Independencia Americana en CKLA. En Matemáticas, están comenzando la adición/suma de 2 dígitos con diferentes estrategias, usando Eureka Math. Por último, la unidad de estudiantes están estudiando en STEMscopes centrandose en el sonido. Muchas cosas emocionantes están sucediendo en Primer grado y es difícil creer que están llegando a su fin.Por: Osamaidy López

Second Grade

Guau! Es difícil imaginar que termine otro año escolar. Para terminar, los estudiantes de Segundo grado están aprendiendo sobre recursos, bienes y servicios durante la clase de Estudios Sociales. En Matemáticas, ellos están identificando cómo usar monedas para hacer cambio! Por último, en ELA, 2do grado está aprendiendo sobre los inmigrantes y cómo viajan a nuevos países. ¡Los estudiantes están esperando el verano y poder convertirse en estudiantes de 3rd grado!

Third Grade By: Kener SanchezThird graders are ready to show what they’ve learned on LEAP! In science they are preparing and practicing for the LEAP, but also learning about forces of motion. In social studies, they are not only reviewing for LEAP, but also learning about government and cities. In math, students are getting ready for LEAP by taking practice assessments and reviewing the major standards: multiplication and division, area, fractions, addition, and subtraction with regrouping. Last, in ELA students are finishing reading “The Adventures of Lewis and Clark” and learning how to identify both elements from narrative writing. Good luck 3rd graders on your first LEAP- you can do it!

Fourth Grade

4th grade students are well into their LEAP testing! To wrap up the year, Ms. Brady will finish “The Lighting Thief.” Mrs. Allelo will be getting her students ready for 5th grade and Mrs. Guillot will be enriching learning in science and social studies! We are so proud of all the hard work put in for LEAP testing!By: Katherin Altamirano

Tercer Grado Por: Kener Sanchez¡Los estudiantes de tercer grado están listos para mostrar lo que han aprendido en LEAP! En Ciencia se están preparando y practicando para el LEAP, pero también ellos aprenden sobre las fuerzas del movimiento. En Estudios Sociales, no sólo están repasando para LEAP, sino también aprendiendo sobre el gobierno y las ciudades. En Matemáticas, se están preparando para LEAP tomando evaluaciones de práctica y repasan los principales estándares: Multiplicación y división, área, fracciones, suma y resta con reagrupación. Por último, en ELA los estudiantes están terminando de leer “Las aventuras de Lewis y Clark” y aprendiendo a identificar ambos elementos de la escritura narrativa. Buena SUERTE 3rd grados en su primer LEAP- ¡Usted puede hacerlo!

Cuarto Grado ¡Los estudiantes de 4to. grado están bien en sus pruebas LEAP! Para terminar el año, la Sra. Brady terminará "El Ladrón del Rayo (The Lighting Thief)". La señora Allelo preparará a sus estudiantes para el quinto grado y la Sra. Guillot enriquecerá el aprendizaje en Ciencias y Estudios Sociales! Fifth GradeFifth graders have been gearing up all year to show what they know for LEAP! They are really excited to ROCK the test. The students can hardly believe the school year is coming to an end and have expressed a little sadness! The teachers are so proud of this group and how much hard work they have put in this year- we know they will be amazing students in middle school! Happy summer!

Quinto Grado¡Los estudiantes de quinto grado se han estado preparando todo el año para mostrar lo que saben para LEAP! Ellos están muy emocionados de TIRAR la prueba.¡ Ellos apenas pueden creer que el año escolar está llegando a su fin y han expresado un poco de tristeza! Los profesores están tan orgullosos de este grupo y del trabajo duro que han puesto este año, ¡sabemos que serán unos estudiantes increíbles en la escuela media! ¡Feliz verano!
