Bridge Build – “Bespoke lessons to bridge the gaps in your knowledge" The idea behind the Bridge Build Model is a unique teaching methodology designed to bridge the gaps in people’s knowledge. In many cases, the vast majority of problems people experience with Technology is due to the lack of a comprehensive reliable platform to access easily understandable practical information. The Bridge Build Model values the individual approach to learning even in a group setting. Learners fill out questionnaires designed to give the teacher information on the learners specific requirements, learners are encouraged to input any questions or concerns they have on the end of the questionnaire, after which each learner will then have a one-on-one consultation culminating in the creation of a collaborative Individualised-learning plan (CILP) The CLIP is designed to allow both teacher and learner to agree on lesson plans and goals, which will be reviewed weekly or monthly depending on lesson frequency. The CLIP is iterative so it can be reviewed and modified according to strengths and weaknesses as lessons progress, with the aim of successfully completing all CLIP all goals at the end of the lesson schedule. The Bridge Build Model has been created with two fundamental rules in mind: Lessons and information must be inclusive, educational, and jargon free with an emphasis on learning at the individuals own pace, and a liberal sprinkling of levity to help people power through any steep learning curves Lessons must be tailored to each individual’s needs to ensure everyone no matter their level of education or skill can learn the functional basics of their devices and software and how to utilise them to complete required tasks in their everyday lives The Bridge Build Model works with the individual’s style of retaining information and unique technology requirements, and under the Bridge Build, users are encouraged and expected to bring and use their own devices including, laptops, Tablets Phablets, Smart-phones, and Wearable Technologies whenever Page 1 of 3

Teaching learners how to use a library or college PC that is administrator restricted and likely running a different operating system and software is not truly catering to their individual requirements. In addition, with Wi-Fi increasingly freely available in many locations it makes sense to teach individuals practical skills with the technology they use in their everyday lives.

Bridge Build also offers a unique home tutoring service exclusively for girls aged 5-18 with parental supervision and women of any age. The Bridge home tutoring service allows learners to use the technology in their own homes at their own pace and convenience by providing the following:

Lessons specifically designed for the elderly, including how to use their devices, how to use the Internet safely, and how to get online and connected with their loved ones using appropriate social media

Lessons for mothers, children, and families in how to use online homework portals and technology aimed at children, including the implementation and maintenance of appropriate Internet child safety measures

Lessons for women for whom English is not their first language to both improve their English and gain greater access and use of Information Technology

Lessons for women running small enterprises, including identifying their technology requirements, sourcing and obtaining necessary devices and software, and lessons in how to use technological resources to improve their business productivity

Lessons for women who require I.T training to improve their job related performance, this includes in office training with employer permission
