MARKET FEASIBILITYA. MARKET DESCRIPTIONIn the market setting we can assure to the buyers that our products are fresh and nutritious because it is near in the sea. It is our job to purchase a good quality and edible fish to the buyers in order to maintain the reputation of our company. We accept all the criticism of the buyers regarding on how our employers will not guide or entertain well the costumers. 5 Gigs Fishery Market plans to build our storefront and sell direct to the public. In Pasil public market, we will bring our commitment of quality, freshness and great prices to the public. By purchasing in large quantities we are able to pass the savings on to our costumer.

1. Consumption in the past 5 to ten years. The business has been demanded through many years with respect to the consumption of the fishes. But in some instances like weather conditions of the Philippines like storms and other catastrophic phenomena, this might cause the business in earning so low and the demand is so high and. The fish are always present in the meal of a family thus making this business earning constantly enough monthly.2. Major users of the productThis business primarily caters one of the peoples need the food. This focuses on the people selecting the quality fresh fish to prepare in their meal. The major consumers are the people of the different public market areas. They are the higher class of the family to lower class. Certain types of fishes are available in selected public market areas.3. Projected consumption for the next five yearsAs to its consumption for the next five years, the demand might be changeable. The conditions of weather greatly affect to the supply and the economic status of the Philippines that also affects the demand to increase the price of the fishes.C. SUPPLY1. Supply for the past 5 to ten yearsAs it is locally harvested freshly form the sea, those are exclusively caught by the partner fishing company. The prices of the fishes vary according to its kind. Freshwater fishes are quite expensive as it is being raised in their fish ponds like Milk fish and tilapia, and the fishes from the sea varies also according to its demand of the people which is tastier and healthier like Tuna and hard-tail mackerel.

2. Factors affecting trends

a. Season. This is the indicator of harvesting that fishes are affected in the different season of the countrys surrounding bodies of water. Fishes of the different seasons greatly affect the availability monthly.b. Weather Conditions. Philippines is a tropical country and its weather condition changes monthly. This also affects the availability of the fishes in a year.c. Competition. The edge of competition over the same other business must be consider.d. Lunar seasons. This is the most common factor in capturing fish most especially to the fishermen.

3. Methods of transportation and existing rate.

The fishes were being delivered through a delivery truck to the different public markets area of which the Cebu City public markets and other neighboring cities like Lapu-lapu city, Mandaue City and Talisay City can avail our services of free delivery. While for those area in South/ northern Part of Cebu, if they want to order and render our services, there will be additional charges that corresponds the location.
