FUNDUMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL EXERCISES:1. First, see what you are to do, then just play along with the recording, listen very carefully, play exactly in tune, produce a good sound, and focus on impecable form. 2. Once notes can be produced easily and beautifully, look at the notes and "solfege", along with the recording, through the exercise.

3. Play the exercises keeping your eyes on the music, letting the hands and ears find the notes.

4. Practice with absolute concentration.

Ñ3w

So (G)

Read music! Memorize these notes, what they look like on the staff and where they are on the instrument. Solfege the notes before and during playing.

In these exersizes you must keep the 1st finger down on the note, while playing the other string. If you cannot do this it means there is a flaw in your left hand posture.

These 4th finger notes are higher than the 3rd Tape! Listen carefully and match the pitch accurately of both the extended 2nd finger, as well as the 4th.

In order to exend the reach of the hand, the 2nd finger will play the 2nd Tape Note so that he 4th finger can reach to play the note higher that the 3rd tape.
