Peter Atfield Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Town Planning and is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. He is Director of Town Planning at Goadsby, advising clients on a range of projects across Central Southern and South West England. He deals with small and large scale proposals for residential, commercial and leisure developments. Prior to his 30 years in consultancy, he worked for 10 years in a local authority planning department. He has worked as part of an Architectural team on major infrastructure projects such as Tottenham Court Road Station and the Millennium Dome in London and on large housing schemes in the East end of London and in the middle east.     Sean was an associate at Western Design where he delivered a number of high profile projects including a hydrotherapy building, for Victoria Education Centre, a woodland burial chapel, in Lytchett Minster and a number of Residential projects.

    Richard Eastham

    Richard is an urban designer and urban planner with extensive experience in the preparation of design strategies and development frameworks. He has particular expertise in engaging with stakeholders and local communities to help shape and influence emerging

    spatial strategies and is currently working on several neighbourhood plans. Alongside his consultancy work at Feria Urbanism, he is a visiting tutor at Arts University Bournemouth on the architecture course.

    Russell Gagg

    Russell Gagg RIBA is Course Leader and Principal Lecturer at the Arts University Bournemouth. He has worked in practice as an architect across the UK, Asia and

    Australasia on leisure, commercial, retail, educational, correctional and residential projects. Much of his work has concentrated on urban regeneration and renewal across the north west of England where he worked on many award-winning schemes. He is the

    author of “Interior Architecture: Textures and Materials”.

    His strength comes from his dual quali cations in both planning and urban design, and this has led to experience in producing implementation strategies, master plans, regeneration strategies and design codes. Peter focuses on producing innovative ideas with a realistic acknowledgement of the levels of change that can be delivered over different timescales and the ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience.

    Recent projects include:Kettering Futures, (Kettering Borough Council): Peter led a multi-consultancy nteam producing a series of documents which include a Town Centre Design Guide SPD, a series of development briefs and a detailed public realm design for the Market Place.Newlands, Hampshire (Grainger plc): A comprehensive master plan and ndesign codes for a new urban extension in Waterlooville, Hampshire. It is designed for a community of over 9,000 people and includes a new mixed use centre, 19 hectares of employment, open space, two schools, health and community facilities as part of a series of walkable neighbourhoods using best practice in sustainable development and biodiversity. Eurokent Community, Ramsgate (Kent CC and Thanet DC): Master plan nfor a formerly allocated employment quarter. Master plan for a mixed-use community, incorporating over 550 new homes, employment and local facilities.Stonebridge (Stonebridge HAT/ Hyde Housing): Managed the implementation nof an award-winning regeneration of the Stonebridge Estate in Brent, London. His inputs have included master plan review, design codes, and tenant and design team liaison. The scheme won the RTPI and Crown Estate award for Sustainable Communities in 2005.Full Street Corridor (Derby Cityscape amd Derby City Council): Managing nthe development of a comprehensive public realm scheme and a series of development site briefs as part of a city centre master plan.

    Peter joined Savills in February 2007, having worked as Technical Director at Terence O’Rourke for seven years, and prior to that in local government for 12 years.

    Nigel is a member of the RTPI and has extensive experience in all aspects of spatial planning with a number of Local Planning Authorities, and in Private Consultancy. He
