MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR:“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation, is not to utter words, but to live by them…”

- John F. Kennedy

We must always be grateful - for all we have and all we’ve been given. We’ve all experienced difficult times over the past year, with so much unknown and inundated with so much information that it often became overwhelming. Although, we must never forget that we’re all in this together - we must help one another. As President Kennedy’s quote above says - “…not to utter words, but to live by them” - a reminder to all of us to live every day by contributing to the greater good for all.

I wish you all continued good health and happiness…always!

Sincerely,

Fiorella R. Mirabito, Mayor

Notary PublicDid you know that the Borough

has a Notary Public?

Marena, can notarize all your legal paperwork.

Call the Borough Office to make sure she is available or set up an

appointment.

The fee is $5.00 per notarization.

Keep an eye open for some NEW Playground Equipment at Keystone Park, Paw Park, and Carl Rehrig Athletic Field. Public Works has worked very hard getting our community in tip top shape. They are replacing worn playground equipment with new. Ciff Cowling and Carl Rehrig Athletic Fields have been refreshed with field mix, flowers were planted, and “welcoming” banners have been hung.

Beautifying Our Little Borough of Bath

On September 26, 2020, a bunch of volunteers got together and planted arborvitaes on Creek Rd. The Borough has been storing millings and fill for the use in the Borough, at this spot for some time now. Our Community and Economic Development Committee suggest that we plant trees around this area to make a prettier entrance on Creek Road for Old Forge Estates.

ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT ON PENN, INDEPENDENCE, & EASTER TERRACE

Week of September 13th – Public Works Crew and Upper Nazareth Twp PW are tentatively scheduled to overlay Independence and Easter Terrace. Could take 1 to 2 weeks to complete.

The Company RECON (in charge of this project) have made all necessary notifications to residents affected along these streets where work is to begin.

Borough has upload information on the website and Facebook page for this project.

Project could be delayed by outside factors such as rain or other scheduling conflicts. Other factors could include improperly sized manhole and water valve covers requiring special order parts. RECON is currently working to ensure parts/materials will not be a problem.
