  • How to Find and Use Lexile Measures Your Lexile measure is a guide to your reading level. A books Lexile measure is a guide to its difficulty. Your teacher can tell you your Lexile measure based on your WESTEST 2 scores. Follett will show a books Lexile measure which is based on how difficult it is to read.

  • Your Lexile range is from 100 points below your measure to 50 points above it. Books in your range should be not too hard but not too easy for you to understand. Click here to travel to Friendly. Be sure to look at the topic of the book as you are making your choice. You want to choose a book you will enjoy.
