* Why 5 nights? It often takes a full day or more to travelto and from far off places.5 nights is an adequate amount of timefor that travel and the preparations for your big day!
* because my departure and return destinations change as weddings book, I book my own airfare after confirming the cost with you.

i’ve got answers...
1. We’re ready to book…what next? - Give me a call or send me a message! A signed contract along with $1000 retainer is required to reserve the date.
2. Do you give high-res files and a print release? - Yes!
3. How long until we see our pictures and get our CD/Prints? - I LOVE what I do and go home excited about the images I make! Sneak Peeks are generally up within 48 hours of your wedding or session. If travel is involved, it may be a little longer. - You can expect to see your online gallery within 3-5 weeks. - Albums may take longer depending on the season. - I have no problem accommodating special requests or rushing an image or two for special uses (holiday cards, invitations, gifts, save the dates, ect). If you think you may need rush services please let me know as soon as possible.
4. Why do you only offer one kind of album? - I offer what I think to be the best combination of quality and price. Are there more expensive // higher quality albums out there? Sure. I chose Red Tree albums because they are elegant, sturdy, and completely affordable. I think an album is the most important purchase you can make other than booking coverage. It is a tangible art piece that represents and showcases all of the beauty, love, and emotion that made your wedding day yours. Turning the pages of a gorgeous album is far more romantic than clicking through images on a computer screen. Not purchasing an album from my wedding is one thing I would have done differently.
5. What should we wear for our session? - You should wear what makes you feel great!!! - Try not to be too “matchy”. You should feel like yourselves and showcase your own unique style. I love color, texture, and accessories! If you’d like some help with styling just ask. We can talk about what you like and plan outfits that make you feel and look fabulous. :-D - If you have a location selected already, make sure to consider it when planning what to wear. - It doesn’t take much to change things up, so don’t stress about bringing too much.

6. How do you handle camera shy clients? - Some of my best images have been produced with clients who were extremely nervous! The first few minutes is a warm up for all of us. When we start I always remind you about this warm up…I reassure you that your discomfort will fade as the session continues…and if it doesn’t, that’s OK!!! Just because you feel nervous or silly doesn’t mean we’re not getting AMAZING images! - Photo shoots are a great way to build confidence and feel good about yourself. Ultimately…I cannot make you like you. I can, however, show you the best you there is, the you that everyone else sees…which is beautiful and unique. You have to be open to that in order to receive it.
7. What other advice or suggestions do you have?! - Show up to your session on time and prepared. We’ve likely planned in accordance with the prettiest light…we don’t want to miss it. - Location, location, location! Think of the places you enjoy being, you’ll likely enjoy having your picture made somewhere similar. - Weekdays are definitely more flexible than weekends for my schedule so I am happy to offer discounted engagement and bridal sessions Monday – Thursday.
