ENGLISH CLASSES Classes are held two days each week, 50 hours of instruction, at Providence Center, 2635 N. 4th St. Classes are FREE. The only fee is $40 for registration. Register on April 25 & 27, or May 2 & 4, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 7:30 P.M.

Aquinas Center will be continuing to offer English classes for adults on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM for Be-ginner and Intermediate levels.

“Do your children receive meals during the school year? Are you concerned about provi- ding them with healthy meals during the summer months?
Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia makes meals available in most sections of Philadelphia and in many suburban counties, too. All children and teens 18 years and un-der can receive lunch at NO cost. 2017 Summer Meal program runs from June 19- August 25th. Sites may participate for the full program or a portion of it.”

UN ÁNGEL LLAMADO MAMÁ
Cuenta la leyenda que un angelito estaba en el cielo, cuando Dios, lo llamó y le encomendó una misión, con dulce voz le dijo, tendrás que ir a la tierra y nacer como los hu-
manos, serás un pequeño niño y crecerás hasta llegar a ser un hombre.
Espantado el angelito, preguntó, pero Señor, ¿cómo haré para vivir tan pequeño e indefenso, quién me cuidará?
-Entre muchos ángeles escogí uno para ti que te está esperando y te cuidará.
Pero dime, aquí en el cielo no hago más que cantar y sonreír, eso me basta para ser feliz…
-No te preocupes, tu ángel te cantará, te sonreirá todos los días y tú sentirás su amor y serás feliz.
¿Cómo entenderé lo que la gente habla si no conozco el idioma de los hombres?
-Tu ángel te dirá las palabras más dulces y más tiernas que puedas escuchar y con mucha paciencia y con
cariño te enseñará a hablar. ¿Y qué haré cuando quiera hablar contigo?
-Tu ángel juntará tus manitas y te enseñará a orar y podrás hablarme.
He oído que en la tierra hay hombres malos, ¿quién me defenderá?
-Tu ángel te defenderá a costa de su propia vida. Pero estaré triste ya que no te veré más.
-Tu ángel te hablará siempre de mí y te enseñará el camino para que regreses a mi presencia, aunque yo siempre estaré a tu lado durante todo el tiempo que
estés entre los hombres. El angelito ya empieza a escuchar las voces que venían de la tierra y atemorizado y con lágrimas en los ojos, dijo... Dios mío, dime por lo menos el nombre de ese ángel que
me cuidará,...

AN ANGEL NAMED MOM
The legend says that an Angel was in heaven and then God called him and entrusted him with a mission. With a sweet voice told him, you will have to go to earth and to born as the human beings. You’ll be a little boy and grow up to be
a man. The little angel was shocked, but he asked the Lord, how am
I going to live there being so small and helpless? Who will take care of me?
-Among many Angels, I chose one for you that will be waiting for you and will take care of you.
“But tell me, here in heaven I don’t have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.”
-Don’t worry, your Angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your Angel’s love and
be very happy. And how am I going to be able to understand when people
talk to me if I don’t know the language?” -Your Angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and
care, your angel will teach you how to speak. And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you? -Your Angel will place your hands together and will
teach you how to pray. Who will protect me?
-Your Angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.
But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore. -Your Angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I
will always be next to you. At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the Angel hurriedly asked,
“God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my Angel’s name.
You will simply call her, “Mom.”
