“Bibliostory" the comic book 24 stories Polish version: http://wbp.poznan.ekursy.eu/course/view.php?id=30 English version: http://wbp.poznan.ekursy.eu/mod/page/view.php?id=861 target group: children (age 9-12), youths (age 13-16)

each story illustrates one issue, e.g. each story illustrates one issue, e.g. - information searching, - the organization of information, - plagiarism, - information problem-solving strategy

Theoretical framework “Bibliostory" is based on two social constructivist pedagogical concepts:

(1) Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) - zPD defines the differences between tasks which the learner can solve without or with the assistance of a more experienced person (scaffolding).

(2) Case-Based Learning/Teaching - The case itself consists of a brief problem statement. - The teacher identifies the problem and demonstrates its solution (to students) based on example. - the students construct their own knowledge based on presented cases.

“Bibliostory" and pop-culture “Bibliostory" includes pop-culture elements, evocations of places or situations that readers are familiar with. - pop-culture elements build a context known both for the readers and the narrator.

ways of using “Bibliostory" - You can use it as an educational tool during MIL lessons. - You can present printed stories on the library's walls. - You can publish stories on the library?s website or in social media, e.g. Instagram/Facebook. - You can just read it and enjoy it :)
