In addition to his main chores in our firm, he was involved in a number of ongoing business deals at the ports of Pecém and Fortaleza, including: the import of clinker, slag and cement by Apodi (M. Dias Branco Group); the export of iron ore to China (Globest); the import of coal from Puerto Bolíver to two new power plants in Pecém (MPX); the import of wind turbines (Vestas, Siemens, Suzlon, etc.) to wind farms in Ceará. He also assisted us, from time to time, with our weekly container-cargo operations in Mucuripe (CMA CGM). Edwin is a resourceful and hard-working individual. He was able to learn the trade in a very short period of time and create an impressive network of contacts. He is at ease in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
