Arts and Crafts CenterKids Day: ‘Princesses and Pirates’ Nov. 16, 12-3 p.m. Children ages 5-12 and
their parents are invited to participate in face painting, simple craft projects,
balloons and snacks, all featuring a ‘Princesses and Pirates’ theme! The cost is
$10, and families may paint bisque for an additional cost. A 24-hour minimum
sign-up is required for this event. Please register at the Arts and Crafts Center,

2013 Army Digital Photography Contest Do you have a photo that you are
proud to say you took? One you'd like to show off to the rest of the world? Come
by the Arts and Crafts Center to pick up information on how to enter the 2013
Army Digital Photography Contest. You may submit your photo until Nov. 30.
There will be a local competition in Baumholder as well, with a deadline of
Nov. 15. All submissions will be on display at the Arts and Crafts Center. Judging
will be through DA Level judges and prizes will be awarded.

Trip to Interlaken Dec. 26-29. Visit the Swiss Alps and the town of Interlaken!
Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and sightseeing. Price ($250) includes round-trip
transportation, three nights in a youth hostel with breakfast, and an all-day city
tour bus pass. This trip is open to geographical bachelors, single Soldiers, and

Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration Dec. 5, 5-8 p.m. Join us as we
celebrate the lighting of the Garrison tree and enjoy a walk through Soldier
Park, complete with Christmas market booths, photos with Santa, and much
more. Celebrate the Christmas season outdoors in an atmosphere of

Sports and FitnessIMCOM Flag Football Championships Nov. 1-3, 11 a.m. Cheer on your
favorite team in the IMCOM Flag Football Championships at Soldier Field! Come
out and root for USAG Baumholder as they compete with teams from across
Europe. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Nov. 1 at 11 a.m., and there is
a coaches meeting at 10 a.m. at the Warrior Zone, Smith Bks., Bldg. 8106. For

“The Comfort Zone” Grand Opening Nov. 12, 10 a.m. USAG Baumholder
Sports and Fitness is proud to announce the opening of a new sports massage
studio, “The Comfort Zone.” Come visit the new facility next to the Indoor
Swimming Pool on Wetzel Kaserne and enjoy fruit, snacks, beverages, and
learn about the services offered!
