I spent ~2 months mapping and sampling in the underground mine with a Mine Geologist (Niels Hendricks)
I mapped and sampled RC drill chip piles in a fast paced open pit environment
I sent lab request forms & COCs
I logged ~3500m of BQ drill core using DHLogger and Fusion database software
I digitized mapping for active and historic headings using AutoCAD
I taught a new Geologist AutoCAD and prepared documents describing the digitizing procedure
Employment History (continued): Illustrator: “Dominion Atlantic Railway” Dec. 2014 – Jan 2014 I created an illustration of how a steam locomotive operates for the preface of the book, using
CAD software. I had this opportunity thanks to my computer aided design professor, Dr. Gary Bustin (Professor of Engineering at Acadia), who recommended me to the author, Dr. Gary Ness.
