TheBachelorofScienceinNursing(B.S.N.)degreeisthecriticalfirststepforacareerinprofessionalnursing.WhilegraduatescanbeginpracticeasanR.N.withanassociate’sdegreeorhospitaldiploma,theB.S.N.nurseispreparedfora broader role.

1.Tuitionfor2012–2013is$23,450forFloridaresidents and$24,500forout-of-statestudents.Tuitionfor2013–2014willsubsequentlybepostedonourWebsite(www.nova.edu/nursing/entrylevel ).AHealthProfessionsDivisiongeneralaccessfeeof$145isrequiredeachyear.AnNSUstudentservicesfeeof$900isalsorequiredannually.Alltuitionandfeesaresubjecttochangeby the board of trustees without notice.

2. Acceptance Fee—$500. Thisfeeisrequiredtoreservetheacceptedapplicant’splaceintheenteringfirst-yearclass.Thisadvancepaymentwillbedeductedfromthetuitionpaymentdueonregistrationday,butisnotrefundableintheeventofawithdrawal.Itispayablewithintwoweeksofanapplicant’sacceptance.

3. Deposit—$500.ThisisdueJuly15forAugust admissionandNovember15forJanuaryadmission.

4. Lab Fee—$150.Thisfeeisrequiredinthefirstsemester.

5. Students will incur additional costs—such as PDA, FNSAdues,testingfees,uniforms,andlabcoat— whileintheprogram.

Thefirstsemester’stuitionandfees,lessthe$1,000previously paid, are due on or before registration day. Tuitionforeachsubsequentsemesterisdueontheday ofregistration.Studentswillnotbeadmitteduntiltheirfinancialobligationshavebeenmet.Thefinancialability ofapplicantstocompletetheireducationatthecollege isimportantbecauseofthelimitednumberofpositionsavailable in each class.
