Year 1 Admission Requirements:
English 12, minimum “C+” grade. Many first year Business courses require Math 11 as a prerequisite. Students may enter the BBA without Math but must complete the Math requirement in or before their first semester of study, and before they will be eligible to complete courses that require the Math prerequisite. Progression to BBA Year 3 requires the completion of 20 program courses with a minimum cumulative grade point average of B- (70%). The 20 courses required for admission must include

Pathway A Elective Guidelines - Seven Elective Courses Two electives must be non-business university transfer
courses and be at least 100 level or higher.
The remaining five electives must be 200 level or higher and be university transfer courses and/or School of Business courses, and include no more than one ABT course.
Pathway B Elective Guidelines – Nine Elective Courses Two electives must be university transfer courses or School of
Business courses and be at least 100 level or higher. BUS 130 and BUS 140 are acceptable BBA electives.

BBA Program Completion Requirements
To qualify for a BBA (Accounting Major) credential, a student must successfully complete all 40 academic courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of “C+” (65%), plus 420 hours of applied work experience.
The applied work experience can be satisfied by completing ACCT 499 Non Co-op Work Experience or BUS 201 Co-op Work Term Two.
A minimum 15 of the 40 courses, including ACCT 480 and at least 7 mandatory accounting courses must be taken at Camosun.
