Bacanu BOGDAN, Five Glass Bones of Strategic Management Theory, Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Science Series (July, 2014), This article presents five reference points considered as highly significantfor the current strategic management. These five points are strategy, competitive advantage, Porters five forces model, VRIO framework, generic strategies. The present work takes into account the consistency of five reference points. Also, the study devolope and anlysis by highlighting their debatable futures. The present study focuses on five concepts related to the current strategic management. They have been selected by taking into account fruquency of their use in textbooks. When the outhor anlyze the five points, he analyze history or semantic analyze of them, discuss and compare their various definitions and clarify debatable features of them. Author gave place to litarature and findings for each points. Defining strategy; the study fistly refers semantic anlayze of strategy, then mentioned different definitions from different outhor of managements. Lastly, mentioned his opinion about teh topic. Competitive advantage; mentioned its history of the concept, also its recognition process. Porters five forces model; author gave place its original and new model. He accepted industrial aconomics as a key word for Porters five forces model topic. Also, the study involves its debatable futures an discussion about them.VRIO framework, firstly mentioned its history, then refers RBV(Resource Based View) which devoloped around VRIO framework. The study mentioned some references about the topic from different authors of management. Also mentioned its gaps. The generic strategies coined by Porter; Study firstly refers generic word in literature, then compare it with porters generic. In summary, the study involves different definitions and citations about all five points, also mentioned their litrature.
