Website Peer Reviews

By Dave Sullivan

Final Website

Final website: Hopefully will benefit from the ideas that come

from your peer review Should contain your best, finished ideas Will be graded subjectively by your instructor

based on writing quality, content, style, and creativity.

Ideas about feedback forms Your website must include a feedback form

that will send you an email message You will start with these feedback form

instructions You should build a form that makes good

sense for your website’s purpose

Thinking about borders Nearly all websites use a logo or graphic in a

top shared border Some sample websites

www.sullishak.com www.allen-house.com www.buy.com

Creating an interactive website of value

Information-only website are dull because they “talk at” you.

Think through what you would like to know about the people who visit your website.

You do not need to complete the site to take full advantage of what visitors tell you – build a prototype.

Today’s work sample Put your name prominently at the top of the

card. Draw a sample page with a border, logo, and

menu bar. In the body of the page, include an on-line form useful for collecting information from visitors.
