empirical point of view — have been raised regarding deterioration of both choice and innovation as a result ofconsolidation in the retail sector. Apart from retail concentration, the study will also assess other factors (suchas shop type, concentration of suppliers, consumer income, etc.) to correct for structural differences that mayinfluence choice and innovation.
