Cross Country Cross Country will be held this Wednesday. Please see information in

newsletter regarding times of K-2 races. Please note students must

be picked up from Kingston at the end of Cross country.

Kelly Concert As part of our Creative Arts unit this term, K-2 students have been

listening to Peter and the Wolf. We were lucky enough to be

introduced to some of the instruments used in Peter and the Wolf last

Wednesday at a concert at school. A big thank you to Ethan, Jonny,

Jude, Grace, Jemima and Reuben Kelly who entertained us with some

fantastic playing of several string instruments! K-2 was very

impressed by the skill shown by our performers and the dedication

they put in to practicing every day. Well done also K-2 on being a

great audience with respectful listening skills!

K-2 Lorax Costumes for School Concert Dear Parents,

As you may have read in the newsletter, we are performing “The Lorax” for our school concert. K-2 students

will be the animals in the truffalo forest. We are currently investigating costumes and have found some animal

onesies at a reasonable price - $20.

At our last concert, parental feedback was very positive about the purchase of a costume rather than you needing

to go to the trouble of making one. We think this is a great option and will begin the ordering process now to en-

sure we have them on island in time.

Could you please send in $20 to the school office as you are able. If it is easier, you could pay for the costume

by 4 instalments of $5. Costumes will be taken home by your child after the final night of the concert.

Thank you, Helen Pedel, Tanya Delaney, Michelle Hayes, Gill Brown
