DS-NET

DEWESoft™ offers the new DS-NET modular Data-Recorder for Automotive Applications

NEW DESIGNWith the new DS-NET modular Data recorders, DEWESoft™ offers a wide range of applications in the automotive field. The new instruments cover applications for all kind of Fleet tests, homologation test, fatigue test and component tests. The modular design provides flexible adaption of the instrument to the required job to do.

Rugged mechanical designThe CNC aluminium construction provides maximal ruggedness and stability at low wight and fanless cooling at operating conditions from -20° to + 60° C or extended range -40° to 70° C . No moving parts or cablings are used in the internal electronics. Storage is performed on internal Flash harddisk or external flash memorys-ticks.

Rugged electronical designAll inputs are galvanical isolated with 500..1200 V from channel to channel and to chassis GND. Most of the inputs offer a wide range of sensor connections which can be choosen by software and a synchronous sam-pling speed up to 10 kS/s per channel. The aggregate sampling rate per gate is 160 kS/s. Multiple gates offer multiple aggregate sampling rates up to 1.28 MS/s. Due to its modularity the system offers upt o 128 mea-surement channels including analog, digital, counters, CAN, USB, LAN, GPS

Multiple featuresDS-NET recorders can act as dynamic datarecorders which acquired the measurement data continously when powered up or controlled by software defined trigger conditions. The recorder can be easyly syn-chronized to absolute timestamp using GPS receiver and send the data during recording via WiFi or G3/UMTS connection to a database or the control center.

Software includedEvery system comes with the award winning DEWESoft™ 7 measurement and analysis Software. But also LabView and Dasylab dirvers are included for additional apllications.

OBDII on CANOBDII is standardized vehicle interface which must be implemented in each vehicle sold in the USA, and California State environmental law requires a standard interface for measurement of basic parameters of the exhaust system.

Parameters such as vehicle speed, engine RPM, throttle position, an certain temperatures, can be read out of any vehicle which has the OBDII interface. DEWESoft™ only needs a CAN card and a special cable to connect to OBDII.
