The teacher’s role

• Using authentic material in class the teacher allows students an approach with the foreign language

Reading activity

• Material: Different books in English• Work in Groups • Bring the reading task to class• Students are supposedd to explain some

page of the book and the others have to create a continuation to the

story.

Magazines

• At a first moment, the teacher can show different authentic covers to the students

• Then they can choose one and read the headline and create the report.

• It is possible to work with text production and reading and speaking, if they present the column.

• In the next activity, students are supposed to compare the english and brazilian covers.

• They can work vocabulary, adjectives
