3D Magic Book Science is a new and innovative learning system that uses books, a camera, and a display system to present content in 3d. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that enables objects in the real world (the book) and virtual content (animations) to coexist.
Students simply place the book in front of the display-mounted camera and animations are displayed on screen, allowing children to interact with the content and capturing their attention. Simply moving the book allows the animated objects to be manipulated to give a detailed perspective, putting control in the hands of the students.
By extending and providing more detail to subject matter, the program stimulates students’ curiosity. Watching and listening to the detailed animations gives children a stronger under-standing of the subject matter.

Results indicate that 3D Magic Book Science is an effective resource for increasing students’ proficiency with science. in an ongoing study that compares those using 3D Magic Book Science with those who use traditional science materials, the students who used the 3D Magic Books scored substantially better. the results also showed that students made considerable progress in their proficiency with science after receiving instruction with 3D Magic Book Science.
