- Paris decided between Aphrodite, Hera, Athena to give a golden apple labeled for “the fairest”
- Aphrodite promised Paris a fair maiden if he gave her the golden apple
• Helen was the fairest maiden in Greece.
- Stolen by Paris to take back to Troy
• Trojan War was started, which lasted nine years
