ATL of our school
Set up by NITI Aayog, the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) aims at transforming the
innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem for the students. Atal Tinkering
Laboratory (ATL) focuses to create the scientific temper as well as cultivating
the spirit of curiosity and creativity among the young minds.
The well-equipped ATL provides ecosystem for the students to create, develop
and to innovate for the community. The Lab is a platform which is well
equipped with the following
• 3D printer
• Engineering grade Sensors
• Microcontroller boards
•Soldering Stations
•Measurement tools
•Carpentry tools
• Mechanical and Electrical Tools
• Advance DIY Kits like Robotics kit, Drone Kit, Biological Kit etc...

Workshop Conducted
A Five days workshop on “Innovation for Future “organised by ATL during 8 to 13 March 2019. Eminent scientists, renowned professors and innovators from NISER, IMMT, Regional science centre attended this workshop. The students interacted with these great personalities and got learning experiences through hands on activities and field trips.
8 March 2019 Professor (Dr.) Kishor Panigrahi from NISER joined the workshop. He discussed on a wide range of Plant Biology and guided students how to use the microscope. Students enjoyed a lot after observing the microscopic view of plant cell and human cell etc…through microscope.

9 March 2019
Dr Debi Prasad Das, senior scientist from IMMT joined the workshop. He interacted with the students on areas related to electronics and its applications in day to day life. He demonstrated with arduino and IR sensor and how to interface both. In second half of the day our alumnus Susant Pattnaik, an innovator cum entrepreneur motivated his young brothers and sisters and shown some demos on his achievements.

Dr Manas Senapati, mentor ATL exchanged his thought with the students related to the climate change and pollution and it’s prevention in innovative ways on the earth. In the second half hands on activities were carried out by Mr. Tanmay Kumar Nayak. In this session students learned about arduino and its applications. Also they learned about various sensors. They developed prototype on how to measure distance using ultrasonic sensor and arduino. In this session students also learned about solar power and its benefits and designed solar powered emergency lights.
