Friday Analyze Learners: My class is an assorted mixture of girls and boys. I have 10 boys and 9 girls, 16 Caucasian and 3 African American. No learning impairments. State Objectives: 9th grade history students will convey their knowledge of the dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan by uploading a document to google drive and creating a Photoshop picture with 100% accuracy by the end of the day. Select Methods: I will teach my students about the United States dropping two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I will have them create a document on google drive and an assignment on Photoshop. My students will go to www.drive.google.com and I will show them how to properly set up an account and give me the link so I can add comments on their documents. I will show them a tutorial on photoshop in order for them to create an amateur image that portrays an element of their choice that pertains to the atomic bombs being dropped. Utilize Media and Material: - First my students will watch a tutorial on the Smart Board on how to edit a photo using Photoshop. - Then they will create their google drive account and give me their URLs so I can make comments.

Analyze Learners: My class is an assorted mixture of girls and boys. I have 10 boys

State Objectives: 9th grade history students will convey their knowledge of the

Utilize Media and Material:

- The students will complete their research and create their documents, and then they will

begin working on their Photoshop assignments.

- I will discuss an extra credit option if the student creates two separate Photoshop

assignments.

- I will monitor the room and make sure every student is participating and understands.

Require Learner Participation: I will make sure that everyone is on task, and

that they properly understand how to use google drive. I will make sure they stay on task, and if I catch them on any other websites that do not have to do with this research there will be disciplinary actions. Every single student will turn in a document by the end of class and most.

Evaluate and Revise: The majority of their grade will be decided on their

participation. I understand that many of them will not be very good with Photoshop and will struggle. As long as they try, they will receive credit for that part. I will check their research on the google drive document and make comments on them for the students to view that weekend. If they need more time for the Photoshop assignment, they can finish it on Monday in class. They will have to tell me in their google drive 3 of their favorite facts about the research that they conducted. If they do not show any effort, there will be points deducted depending on how much work they complete.
