Dear Family of Faith,
Last weekend, this weekend, and next weekend invite us to reflect on three
powerful moments in Jesus' life. Last weekend we celebrated his role and
life within His family, a Holy Family. We reflected on 'The Holy Family',
Mary, Joseph and Jesus, we remembered our family life, and we also
remembered that as Sons and Daughters of God, and brothers and sisters to
Jesus, it takes hard work and dedication to be Jesus' disciple. All of the
above takes hard work, patience, pardon and perseverance.
This Sunday we reflect on Jesus' being made known by the visit from the wise
men, or His Epiphany. Just as the wise men made him known, we too are
invited to make him known. Then next Sunday, we celebrate Jesus'
baptism.
May God continue to bless and support all of you in the good times and
difficult times. Please also say a prayer for our furnace. It is super old,
unreliable, and we may
have to start planning for a
new one!

Querida familia de la Fe,
El fin de semana pasado, este fin de semana, y el próximo fin de semana nos
invitan a reflexionar sobre tres poderosos momentos en la vida de Jesús. El
fin de semana pasado celebramos su papel y vida dentro de su familia, una
Sagrada Familia. Reflexionamos sobre 'la Sagrada Familia', María, José y
Jesús, recordamos nuestra vida familiar, y también recordamos que como
hijos e hijas de Dios, y hermanos y hermanas de Jesús, se requiere mucho
trabajo y dedicación para ser el discípulo de Jesús. Todo lo anterior toma
trabajo duro, paciencia, perdón y perseverancia.
Este domingo reflexionamos sobre el hecho de que Jesús es conocido por la
visita de los sabios, o su Epifanía. Así como los sabios le hicieron conocer,
también nosotros estamos invitados a hacerle conocer. El próximo domingo
celebramos el bautismo de Jesús.
Que Dios continúe bendiciendo y apoyando a todos en los tiempos buenos y
en los tiempos difíciles. Por favor, también diga una oración por nuestro
sistema de calefaccion. Es muy viejo, poco fiable, y es posible que tengamos
que empezar a planear para uno nuevo!
