• PNP Affirmation is no longer required for additional federal programs
• Complete an Equitable Services Worksheet (ESW) for each PNP campus participating with Title I Part A, Title I-C Migrant, Title II-A, Title III-A, and Immigrant

New Texas Support for Homeless Education Program (TEXSHEP) RFA on THEO website:

• grants up to $225,000• separate applications for single LEAs and Shared Services Arrangements
Unaccompanied Immigrant Children
• assess for homelessness on case-by-case basis
• Texas has the largest numbers of unaccompanied children
• children must be enrolled
Fall Enrollment Issues
• requiring records and proof of residency prior to enrollment
• electronic registration: may discourage homeless students from enrollment
• requiring caregivers to obtain legal guardianship
• unnecessary enrollment delays
