Scenario
You work for the graphics design company Buzz. Buzz has just received briefs for two new graphic products – apple butter jar label and a charity collection box - which you have been asked to build. However, before you start designing your products, you must review graphic products already in use.
Task 1
Write a report reviewing at least two different graphic products used in connection with promoting food and with promoting charities. It is strongly recommended that you include images of both products which you are reviewing in your report. You should explain their features (including technical qualities), content, audience and purpose. Consider whether these products are fit for purpose, and how they affect the audience. For instance, how have they been designed for use in promotion? How would you improve these products? What are their strengths? What are their weaknesses?
