Assignment 2: Describing your neighborhood.

Audioboo Update

Put as a hashtag the unit you choose. #unit5 or #unit6 (also your class hashtag: #butlersmumonday (Tuesday, Wednesday etc) Let’s look at page 50. These are examples of

how you could describe your neighborhood. Remember to use any grammar we studied today.

For Assignment 2 you will use audioboo.fm to describe the neighborhood that you live in. (see option 2 on last slide)

Use adjectives to describe the neighborhood. Is it quiet, noisy, busy, etc.

Use Page 48 grammar to describe things in your neighborhood.

Use page 51 grammar to tell me things I should or shouldn’t do in your neighborhood.

Look at page 50 reading for good ideas. Speak at least 6 sentences.

Listen to this example:

1. Go to Audioboo.fm and click Sign Up 2. Provide a user name, email address and

password. 3. Update profile settings:

Must have: Real Name, Location, Your face picture.

Optional: Website, About Yourself

Don’t forget to click update profile!!

Post a photo of your neighborhood and link to a map. Then publish!

Now you can visit your profile page and see your post.

1. You must include name and student number. 2. You must include #hashtag for your class

and it must be spelled exactly right. 3. Delete extra posts. If you have more than

one you will get a minus point. 4. Do not have other people record for you. If

it’s not your voice you will receive 0 points. 5. Deadline: May 26-31 On your class day, NOT

after your class day.
