DIGITAL STORYTELLING

Linear sculptures on Tumblr.comStudents collaborated with a partner to create these wonderful stick sculptures. They had to come up with a unit shape using a selection of sticks. Once they had a usable unit, students made multiples of it, which were then combined to create one large linear sculpture. Creating tension with space while maintaining balance was part of the challenge, but one that they enjoyed. The final sculpture was spray painted and attached to a base. The results were some very dynamics pieces!

I’m amazed and delighted at the amount of opportunities and tools available on the internet. The variation and complexity of the applications are fantastic!These provide opportunities for students and teachers to learn, communicate, create, discover and enjoy through technology.
