• Problem Identification: Pre Screening for at risk students at the beginning of the year. (Forward to RtI chair.)

• Problem Analysis and Plan Development: RtI Team will review and develop targeted group interventions and data collection tools

• Plan Implementation: Interventions and tools will be disseminated to designated individual(s) for implemention

• Progress Monitoring: Assigned Case Manager meets to obtain current status of progress - within 3 weeks and at 6 weeks of the intervention

• Plan Evaluation: RtI team meets to evaluate success and need to continue or modify current interventions

Discipline Infraction Definitions

Tardy = Late for class or beyond the start time for school; per trimester Repeated Defiance/Disrespectful Behavior –Offensive (unpleasant) behavior toward another person

Insubordinate – Refusing a directive from a staff member

Abusive Language/Inappropriate Language/Profanity – Verbal communication that includes swearing, name calling or use of words in an inappropriate manner

Fighting/Aggressive Physical Contact –Aggressive physical contact where injury may occur

Bullying /Harassment – Verbal or physical conduct that threatens or intimidates others

Disruptive / Inappropriate Behavior – Behavior that substantially interrupts the learning environment or a school event/function

Property Damage/Vandalism –Destruction or permanent disfigurement of personal or school property

Stealing / Theft – Claiming someone else’s property as your own

Forgery– A signature made without the person knowing of or consenting to it

Dress Code Violation – Any dress or appearance that constitutes a threat to the health and safety of students or disrupts the learning environment/ educational process

Technology Violation – Using an electronic devices including, but not limited to, cell phones, pagers, cameras, tape and CD players, ipods, playstations, Gameboy® and other video devices

Skipping – Unexcused absence from school or leaving school grounds

Bomb Threat/Arson/False Alarm – Deliberately making a bomb threat, starting a fire or pulling a false alarm

Tobacco Possession / Use – Possession or use of tobacco products

Controlled Substance Possession / Use – Possession or use of an illegal substance

Set rules/expectations and consequences team wide, include trimester teachers.

The PBIS Team will be meeting Friday June 4th to continue preparing for Rolling Out the system next year PD for teachers to understand

system and their role in lessons Kick Off day for students to learn
