Timeframe 3 is the longest of the three timeframes of Antichrist's reign before the rapture. The rise of Antichrist and the forming of his empire took place quickly in timeframe 1. Timeframe 2 covered the prophetic events of the 'Day of calamity' (phase 1, phase 2) with the Jews repentance in Egypt (phase 3) and turning to Jehovah for deliverance from

their enemies and to their joy the 'Ark of the Covenant' appears from Ethiopia first (phase 3). Lastly their was a second exodus out of Egypt with the 'Ark of the Covenant' and victories over their enemies (phase 4). The mass return (timeframe 2) is completed when the remaining Jews from all nations see the mighty miracles of Jehovah God and the 'Ark' of Jehovah's power resting in 'Zion' as in the days of King David. Timeframe 3 will be also an intense time for the nations, church and the Jews. This timeframe slips into a time as the 'Days of Noah' (Matt 24:37-40)

Matt 24:37-4037 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

  As the true church gets ready for the God's great escape - the rapture - which suddenly ends timeframe 3 (chart), the unsaved church is left behind on earth to go into the 'Great Christian Tribulation' (timeframe 4) which last 3 1/2 years. Then follows the terrible 'Day of the Lord/Daniel's 70th week' (timeframe 5) which last 7 years. Christ at His saints return at this time defeating Antichrist and his armies and establishes His Kingdom over the whole earth (Kingdom).

Timeframe 3 – Jews

Amos 9:9-15 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this.

13 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, anddrink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.

Israel was a nation that at it's beginning crossed over the Jordan River with the 'Ark of the Covenant' into the promised land and defeated 31 kings including that great city of Jericho. A nation that reached its height under King David and Solomon. However, because of sin and disobedience to the covenant God made with them, they have been scattered among all nations for over 2500 years.

Now in these last days of their worldwide dispersion we studied in timeframe 2 how God was going to bring them all back from all nations, but first their must be repentance and turning back to Jehovah God of their fathers to receive the blessings of Deut 28 and Lev 26. In phase 1 the coming 'Day of calamity' will see many Jews going to Egypt by ship from many nations where they have been living for centuries. Also,

as part of the 'Day of calamity' we saw in phase 2 that the land of Israel will become a prey to their worst enemies and they have destroyed many of its cities and made the land most desolate and casting lots for who owns Jerusalem. Many Jews are killed and the ones that were able to make it out had no where to flee but Egypt. We studied in phase 3 that God will plead with the Jews face to face in Egypt as He did with

their fathers in the days of Moses. We read that a remnant will repent and turn to obey all that God had commanded them through Moses. Those that do not repent die in the wilderness of Egypt. Those that did repent, the 'Ark of the Covenant' appeared to their joy and the surviving remnant stood up as an exceeding great army and are brought out of Egypt a second time with great power and victory over their

enemies (phase 4). They now have more land than they did before and the Ark is on Mount Zion. The Jews, because of obedience, are now under the blessings of Deut 28 and Lev 26 once again. The 4 phases of timeframe 2 accomplished God's purpose to sanctify His Holy Name among the nations who are deceived and lied to by Antichrist and his doctrines. The mass return is now accomplished when the rest of the whole house

(all remaining 12 scattered tribes since the time of the 70 years exile) that still remain in Gentile lands will now return and come back home to the land of Israel because of the 'Ark' on Mount Zion and Jehovah’s Covenant faithfulness.

Joshua 3:3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

Notice vs 14 talks of the mass return to the land of Israel to build the waste cities and inhabit them. The cities were wasted in the 'Day of calamity‘. In vs 11 The prophet likens this period of reconstruction (timeframe 3 we are now

studying) to the time of the 'Tabernacle of David' that is - the house or reign of David. Let us look at the pattern in the days of David when He built up 'Zion - City of David' in the days of old. The first thing David did when he became King was to bring the 'Ark' to 'City of David' (1 Chronicles 15:28, 2 Sam 6:12) and house it in a tent of curtains until Solomon His Son built the temple as told to Him by the Prophet Nathan (2 Sam 7:12)

2 Sam 6:1212 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.

1 Chronicles 15:28 28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.

The City of David is Zion (2 Sam 5:7)

2 Sam 7:2 That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

2 Sam 7:1212  And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will  establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

The temple was built by Solomon, David's son.  (2 Samual 7:12)

Effect of the Ark of God in their midst. Shouting with great joy so much the earth rang again (great celebration) (1Sam 4:5)

1 Sam 4:5 And when the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.

1Chronicles 16:6,376 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God. 37  So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:

The Ark was God's throne of protection and mercy in their midst. David established 24 hour praise and worship around the Ark (1 Chronicles 16:6,37, 1 Chronicles 15:16)

1Chronicles 15:1616 And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

1 Chron 15:22And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

1Chron 15:27 And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

1Chron 16:4And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

1Chron 28:13Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.

1Chron 28:21 And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skillful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.

2 Chron 5:12Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

2 Chron 7:6 And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of music of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

Ps 80:1 To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Nu 7:89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

Ps 99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

Isa 37:16 O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

From some of these scriptures we see then David also saw to it that the priestly system was carrying out the offering and sacrifices the law demanded. As long as the Jews were in obedience to the law, God's promised blessings of security over their enemies and blessings on their land flowed. Likewise, in timeframe 3 with the 'Ark' in 'Zion' the Jews will go on a great building campaign to restore Jerusalem and all the ancient high places as in the days of David. David type worship and praise will be restored and the priestly system of offerings and sacrifices. All this will go on while the temple will be built to house the 'Ark' in a permanent home as in the days of Solomon. Some would say that the law was done away with. God's covenant with Israel will be honored to the letter.  However, the law cannot bring everlasting

righteousness and holiness and peace. Jesus, the only one who could keep the law established a better and higher covenant open to both Jews and Gentiles. The blessings of that covenant will be in full effect when the Jews as a nation accept Christ as their Messiah. This will not happen till the end of Daniel's 70th week (last 7 years before Christ returns) when they call upon Jesus to save them from Antichrist and his armies. This will not happen till after the rapture when Christ will return and defeat Antichrist and his armies (Kingdom).

Isaiah 49:19-2619 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?22 Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful

captive delivered?25 But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Savior and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

God's standard (recognized banner by all the nations ) - the 'Ark of the Covenant' - will be on 'Mount Zion' for all nations to see and receives a certain amount of respect. This is due to Jehovah - God of Israel - giving the Jews the victories over their enemies during the process of the mass return (timeframe 2). The land if Israel will multiply so greatly that it will already become too strait for them. Those that lost family members in the 'Day of calamity' (time frame 2 - phase 2) will be comforted with more children.

Zephaniah 3:2020 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.  Vs 20 is referring to the events of the mass return (timeframe 2) when God turns their captivity. He will make Israel a name and a praise among ALL people of the earth (happens in timeframe 3).

Jerimiah 3:1616 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

In vs 16 Jeremiah says that in the days when the Jews are multiplied and increased in the land -that is - at some point after the mass return (timeframe 2) that they (the Jews) shall no longer say the 'Ark of the covenant' or visit or even remember it. Why would the Jews not think, visit (tourist attraction) or talk about the 'Ark of the Covenant'? Vs 18 answers that question. Jeremiah says 'At that time they

shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered to it'. This would have to be when Jesus returns and is ruling over all nations from Jerusalem during the millennium). The 'Ark of the covenant' is God's emblem or standard of His pledge to give the Jews victory over their enemies and to give them the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When Christ returns the promises to the Jews will then have been completely fulfilled and they will be in total possession of their land and their enemies totally vanquished . Christ as Lord in Jerusalem is the true and living 'Ark of the Covenant' that the

wooden 'Ark' of Moses always was a type or picture of. Jeremiah is clearly saying that the 'Ark of the Covenant' which would certainly be a great tourist attraction in the last days and will be on many minds all will end when Christ reigns gloriously Himself in Jerusalem over all the earth. But the 'Ark of the Covenant' will certainly play a dominant prophetic role during timeframe 3, timeframe 4, timeframe 5 till Christ returns and defeats the armies of Antichrist and establishes His Kingdom over all nations forever.

  It is clear the temple has to be built before Daniel's 70th week - last 7 years before Christ. Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11:31, Matt  24:15, talk of Antichrist as the one who commits the' abomination of desolation' which is idol worship to the image of Antichrist in the temple (see also Rev 13 - beast/false prophet timeframe 4 ).

Why the temple will be rebuilt before the rapture

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Mt 24:15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Dan 11:3And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Rev 13:14,15 (timeframe 4) 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

2Thess 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2 Thess 2:4 speaks of the time when Antichrist shows the Jews that he is God sitting in the temple. Most likely sitting on the 'Ark of the Covenant' which Jews consider Jehovah's throne here on earth.

  Rebuilt temple measured for judgment and given over to Antichrist armies (Gentiles) for 3 1/2 years. This agrees with Daniel's 70th week. God is also going to have His two witnesses prophesy at this time (this is the last 3 1/2 years before Christ returns).

Rev 11:1-3  1 and there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy

city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Dan 12:11,12 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

  The rebuilt temple cannot be built after the rapture for God is judging the earth. It is clear the Jews are already active in temple service and sacrifice by the time of Daniel's 70 week (last 7 years before Christ returns). The only and best time and which certainly makes the most sense is timeframe 3 before the rapture but after the mass return (timeframe 2) when the Jews are all back in their land with the 'Ark of the Covenant‘ when the 'Tabernacle of David' will then be rebuilt.

Conclusion of why temple will be rebuilt before the rapture

Timeframe 3 – Gentiles

During timeframe 3 while the Jews have been rebuilding the 'Tabernacle of David' and their 'temple' in Jerusalem to house the 'Ark of the Covenant' (timeframe 3 - Jews), Antichrist shows himself as a great promoter and builder of the world's greatest political, religious, commercial cities the world has ever seen. Babylon will be Antichrist's commercial and religious capitol of his empire; Tyre his political capitol - the world's greatest seaport city of the coast of Lebanon.

The Bible does not tell us much about these cities while their built but describes them in great detail at the time they are destroyed. Babylon and Tyre are both destroyed after the rapture during the timeframe 5). The time to build these cities to fulfill the worldwide extent that they are described could not take place after the rapture which is a time of judgment on the earth but built before the rapture and be existing for some time. Both of these mighty cities will rise and fall in the lifetime of Antichrist's reign.

Ezek 26:1,21 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,2 Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:

God speaks judgment against Tyrus for it's role in the 'Day of calamity' (timeframe 2) when Israel was attacked and

Jerusalem was in the hand of the Jew's worst enemies and they rejoiced saying they would now be replenished by Israel's loss and now they would be the gates for the people.

4 Phases of timeframe 2

Notice in Psalm 83 studied in the process of the mass return (timeframe 2) Tyrus listed among the confederate group of nations that attacked Israel in the 'Day of Calamity'.Psalm 83:5-8 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Judgment against Tyre – Ezekiel 27

1 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord God; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of

perfect beauty.4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have

made thy beauty perfect.12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thymerchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs:

bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba,Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.24 These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.26 Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.27 Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and theoccupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are

in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?33 When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou  fillest many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.34 In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

Judgment against Babylon – Revelations 18Babylon - the world's greatest commercial city and center for all false religions built before the rapture in timeframe 3 and destroyed in the 'Day of the Lord – timeframe 5). 1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her

17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning,  saying, What city is like unto this great city!19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be

heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Timeframe 3 – Church

  During timeframe 3 the church will experience a great falling away and a vicious attack on Bible truths. These truths will be twisted by doctrines of demons and taught as fables. Truths as the rapture, visible return of Christ (Kingdom), and the coming great day of judgment upon all nations known as the terrible Day of the Lord (timeframe 5). Antichrist, in his dramatic star war rise with help from Satan and his angels (timeframe 1) have made outer space to be a canopy of gods and advanced races and that we can all be gods in the

making. Evolution has been backed up with great satanic lies and wonders deceiving the whole world. Timeframe 3 will see the true church facing it's greatest battles in protecting the pure Word of God, God's holiness, God as being eternal who always was, and in the beginning God created all things in the heavens and the earth. Antichrist will substitute his god who he will honor with much silver and gold and a 'God of force’s (Daniel 11:36). To begin our study of time frame 3 the best place is a study of Rev 12:1-5, one of the best teachings on the main players in the last days that lead up to the rapture; the great 3 1/2 year Christian tribulation period - timeframe 4;  Day of the Lord - timeframe 5; visible return of Christ (Kingdom).

Rev 12 presents one of the clearest pictures in the bible on the order of events and all the end time players involved before and after the rapture. This chapter shows clearly the conflict between Antichrist and his empire and the Church before and leading up to the rapture. After the rapture is the story of Satan had his angels cast down to earth and Antichrist's persecution of the saints for 3 1/2 years unto death. This time of trouble for those that turn to Christ after the rapture is known as the great 3 1/2 year Christian tribulation .

Rev 12:1-5 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a manchild, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Interpretation of Rev 12

  The sun rules the day and gives light. Likewise, the Church is to be of the day and of the light (1 Thess 5:5).

  The woman was a great sign in heaven. The Church is to be made up of saints who sit in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3)

1 Thess 5:55 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Rev 12:1 And the moon under her feet:

  As the moon rules the night so Satan rules the darkness. As the moon is under her feet the Bible says Satan is to be under our feet.

Luke 10:18,1918 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Eph 1:19-23 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church,  23 Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

In the old testament we had the 12 tribes of Israel. In the new testament we have the 12 apostles. After the rapture and resurrection of the dead in Christ (1 thess 4:16) both the old and new testament saints are in view in Rev 4:4 symbolized by 24 elders around the throne.

Rev 12:1 Upon her head a crown of 12 stars:

Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

  The woman would have 24 stars if this woman symbolized both the Old and New Testament saints. The number 12 is used divinely in scripture to mean divine government. In the O.T. it was the 12 tribes of Israel and in the N.T.  it was the 12 Apostles.   Because the sun-clothed woman with the manchild is telling the story of the separation that will take place between the living Christians and the professing Christians in the Church at the time of the rapture, only the New Testament living Church is in view here. The stars represent the saints who are to shine for Jesus in this dark age we live in. A crown of 12 stars then is the new testament Church which is to rule with divine authority. 1 Peter 2:9 says the Church is a holy nation, a royal priesthood.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Daniel 12:33 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered:

These words tell us great truths that God has stored in His Word for the last days leading up to the rapture. There is vast amount of prophecy to be fulfilled in the last days before the rapture especially during the rise and reign of Antichrist. When Bible prophecy is being fulfilled it brings forth powerful revival and excitement in the Church and great wonder among the unsaved. Worldwide evangelism becomes a goal to save as many as possible so they will not be left behind at the rapture or go through the 3 1/2 yr Christian tribulation

period - timeframe 4 or the 'Day of the Lord - timeframe 5' or be eternally lost in hell. This last day prophetic revival will usher in the greatest harvest of souls. The manchild (true believers) growing inside the woman (professing Church) will be reaching its full growth before it is birthed (raptured). How will the professing Church (unsaved and legal Church organizations) react?. They will cry, they will be pained and will want to be delivered of this manchild. As a woman goes

into labor and her labor pains increase in the natural so will it happen in the spiritual realm. The woman will align herself more and more with the world system in the time leading up to the rapture, especially under Antichrist's reign (timeframe 1). The woman is pained as the manchild is getting ready for the rapture to exit both the woman (professing Church) and the world system. However, before the actual birth - that is - separation ( rapture ) of the manchild (saved Church) from

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads:

The dragon is the devil. We are plainly told in same chapter - Rev 12:9

Rev 12:99 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

The woman (unsaved Church) takes place we read in Rev 12:3

The dragon has 7 crowned heads and 10 horns. The 7 heads with crowns are not hard to figure out because the angel in Rev 17:9 explains.

REV 17:99 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

Mountain in scripture is often used to symbolize a kingdom or empire. The 7 mountains are 7 kings confirming the truth the mountains refer to kingdoms.  John is told by the angel that 5 kings are already fallen (5 kingdoms or empires have

fallen - passed into history) and the 6th kingdom 'is‘ - that is presently ruling. Since John is currently listening to the angel, the 6th kingdom that 'is' is clearly the Roman empire that existed in John's day (around 96 A.D.).  The 7th kingdom was yet to come but when it did it would not last very long. The 5 empires the children of Israel have been connected with in prophecy and history before the 6th empire (Roman Empire) that the bible speaks of are:(1) Egyptian,(2) Assyrian, (3) Babylonian, (4) Persian, and the (5) Grecian. The 6th in John's day as I said is the (6) Roman Empire. The 7th head - the one empire yet to come will be (7) Antichrist's Empire. How this happens is well developed in the book of Daniel (timeframe 1). Besides the 7 crowned heads this dragon has 10 horns. Daniel 7:23,24 refers to the Roman Empire in its

final form symbolized as a beast that had 10 horns (Daniel 7)                         

Daniel 7:77 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourthbeast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

Dan 7:23, 2423 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

The 10 horns symbolize the modern nations today whose land area was once a part of the old Roman Empire. This would be East and West Europe today. The number 10 in the Bible used symbolically or prophetically can be used as a round number meaning any number. For a much clearer study of identifying the 10 horns one must study Daniel 2 and then Daniel 7. Daniel is simply saying that the old Roman Empire area in the last days will be composed of X amount of nations. His symbol for those nations is the 10 horns.  Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 go on to say how these nations will come under Antichrist's dominion and be a part of his empire in the last days. When this happens and Antichrist's Empire is formed

this will fulfill the 7th head of the dragon being crowned. The full meaning of this dragon having 7 crowned heads and 10 horns is NOT fully fulfilled until Antichrist's Empire is formed which would include the 10 horns Daniel painstakingly showsto be the nations that make up Antichrist's Empire in the last days. Until that 7th head is crowned (and that is only when Antichrist's Empire is formed composed of the nations symbolized by the 10 horns) the separation of the manchild from the woman - that is - the birth of the manchild - the rapture of the true Church from the professing Church cannot take place. This is a very important truth to grasp.   

Gray area – full extent of Antichrist’s Empire

    Some say the 10 horns that are a part of this dragon could have been fulfilled back in the days of the early Roman Empire and that the manchild of Rev 12 is the birth of Christ and the woman Israel. But Daniel 7 clearly teaches the 10 horns like the 10 toes of Daniel 2 are the nations in East and West Europe that have evolved only after the Roman Empire fell and split into both the West and East Empires. Both these divisions fell in 476 A.D. and 1453 A.D. respectively. When Antichrist comes to power in the last days and rules over the nations of Europe symbolized by the 10 horns then the truth of the dragon having 7 crowned heads and 10 horns will be totally fulfilled.  Therefore the rise of Antichrist and his empire reigning will take place before the rapture; that is - before the woman gives birth to the manchild.

Rev 12:3 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Dragon's tail dragged 1/3 of the stars with him. Some have taught that God divided the angels among the three archangels: Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer (who later became Satan). Each one of them ruled over a 1/3 of the angels and possibly 1/3 of heaven (outer space). The Dragon dragging 1/3 of the stars would refer to his fallen angels that make up

his principalities, powers, thrones Eph 6:12 tells us of.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

After Antichrist's Empire is formed (which Satan and his angels played a major role - Daniel 7, Daniel 8) we are now told that the dragon (Satan) and his angels are ready to try and prevent the woman from giving birth to the manchild - that is - prevent the rapture from taking place. The meaning 'dragon stood before the woman' means Satan got prepared for confrontation.  Notice these are same words used to tell Daniel about the rise of Antichrist in the last days (Daniel 8:23)

Daniel 8:2323 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Satan will produce Antichrist before the rapture (the birth of the manchild). Satan and his angels will think they can stop the Church from meeting the Lord in the air (1 Thess 4:16). Satan is called the prince of the air (Eph 2:2) and his angels principalities and powers (Eph 6:12). But Michael and his angels will see to it that the manchild (raptured Church) gets safe passage to meet the Lord in the air. Notice Dan 12:1 where Daniel says that Michael shall also stand up -that is - get ready for confrontation with Satan and his angels.

Daniel 12:11 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.Dan 12:1 puts this before the 'Day of the Lord' a time of trouble such as never was and Daniel also says that God's people (both the dead and living) would be delivered from that time of trouble.

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Who is this manchild that as soon as it is born is caught up to God's throne to rule all nations with a rod of iron? It is not Christ. Jesus lived 33 years on this earth after He was born. Jesus did not flee from Satan but conquered him and when Jesus went back to heaven he ascended slowly and visibly as His disciples watched Him. The Catholic Church says the woman is Mary and the manchild baby Jesus. However, the birth of the manchild does not take place until the dragon has the 10 horns under his control.  As we studied in the previous passages the 10 horns symbolizes the nations of East and West Europe in the last days whose land area were once a part of the Old Roman Empire (Daniel 7). These nations did

not begin to exist until many centuries later after the old Roman Empire split into East and West. When we say the manchild is the true Church separated from the professing Church at the time of the rapture after Antichrist has formed his empire - everything fits. The manchild is to rule over the nations with a rod of iron. This is a promise God made to the true believers at the Church at Thyatira

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Rev 2:25-2725 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

These believers being caught up in the rapture are about to see the promise of that fulfillment. The raptured saints execute judgments on the nations during the Day of the Lord (time frame 5) and then return to rule and reign on earth with Christ over the nations for a 1000 years (Kingdom).

and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The manchild is caught up to God's throne. This is what happens to the true Church at the rapture.  Rev 4 records the rapture of the saints and talks of God's throne being setup in heaven. The Church around the throne is symbolized by the 24 elders dressed in white raiment (righteousness of the saints) and wearing crowns (victory crowns - like athletes in the Olympics). The number 24 is symbolic of the Old Testament saints (12 tribes - saved dead are also caught up – 1 Thess 4:16) and New Testament saints (12 apostles).

Rev 4:1-51 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, "Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter".2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was  in heaven, and one sat on the throne.3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. John is a picture of the believer being caught up in the rapture. He hears the voice of the archangel, sound of the trumpet and he looks up and sees an open door and then us immediately caught up to God's throne. This is the same open door (the rapture) which Jesus promised to the Philadelphia Church (Rev 3:8)  to escape the trial that is coming upon the whole world (the great 3 1/2 Christian tribulation period, the 7 year terrible day of the Lord).

Rev 3:8 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

John is not only symbolic of the whole Church been caught up at the rapture, but God uses John as an eyewitness  to see and record the events that take place after the Church is caught up in the rapture.

1 Thess 4:16-15    For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up

together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Cor 15:51-5351 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Phil 3:2121 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

The rapture takes place between timeframe 3 and timeframe 4 . For a complete study of all the events that happen at the rapture (see study on rapture)

The remainder of Rev 12 tells the story of the woman (professing church) now fleeing for her life being left behind on earth to go into the great Christian Tribulation period (3 ½ years timeframe 4 – chart). These verses and others will be explained in study of timeframe 4 following rapture study.

2 Peter 3:1-71 This second epistle beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

2 Peter 3 talks of scoffers in the last days saying 'Where is the promise of His coming' and willfully denying past judgments of God such as fall of Lucifer's kingdom (Gen 1:2) and Noah's worldwide flood and the coming worldwide judgments -'The Day of the Lord’ (timeframe 5).

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day

is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

These scoffers (scoff - to mock or scorn) are mocking and scorning Christians in a day when Antichrist is promising the universe (timeframe 1). These scoffers are walking after their own lusts , that is, indulging in the things of the flesh all the time and not wanting to hear of a Holy God they will have to answer to and be judged by. They willfully dismiss the past judgments of God such as: when God judged Lucifer's kingdom and the earth became without form and void and went through space in darkness (Gen 1:2, Jer 4:23); or the worldwide flood of Noah (Gen 6) in which only Noah and his family were saved to replenish the earth. These same,

through willful ignorance are now denying the future judgments of God that God has spoken in His Word (Revelations) coming upon the whole world known as the terrible Day of the Lord - timeframe 5. They say all things have gone on without interruption since the beginning of creation. This is not true but they are treating the Word of God as fables and moral stories but not to be taking literally. Peter is reminding the believers to stir up their pure minds of remembrance - in other words - do not be polluted by these false interpretations and twisting of God's Word. Remember with a pure mind that which you were taught by in the Word of God by God's Holy Prophets and Apostles that the Day of the Lord will come and Christ will return (Kingdom). Peter

gives the reason for the delay of the return of Christ and the 'Day of the Lord'

2 Pet 3:8,9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

God's delay is that God is longsuffering not willing that any should perish but come to repentance and not go through the

terrible Day of the Lord. Nevertheless the Day of the Lord will come with a great noise and the elements shall melt with fervent heat and the sinful works of man shall be burned up Thank God the rapture will follow time frame 3 but be before the Great Christian Tribulation (timeframe 4) and the terrible Day of the Lord (timeframe 5)

2 Timothy 3:1-7 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. We are told men in the last days shall be of this sort with a form of godliness but lacking the power thereof. This form of godliness is the lie of Satan that Antichrist will cause the whole world to believe in his reign. This is the same lie Satan used in the garden of Eden to bring about the fall of man.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Satan is telling man that growing in the knowledge of good and evil we are gods in the making. Antichrist himself will worship a strange god (Satan) and a 'God of forces' (see Daniel 11:36 ). The great signs and lying wonders Satan's angels do to bring about the successful star war rise of Antichrist and his ability to make war (timeframe 1) will further brainwash and convince many of this lie. They are always learning of good and evil but never coming to know the truth that they are sinners in need of a savior and Christ is that savior.

2 Timothy 3:77 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Tim 3:8,9 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was

Fausset, Brown critical commentary says:   Now--Greek, "But"; it is no wonder there should be now such opponents to the truth, for their prototypes existed in ancient times [ALFORD]. Jannes . . . Jambres--traditional names of the Egyptian magicians who resisted Moses (Exodus 7:11,22), derived from "the unwritten teaching of the Jews" [THEODORET]. In a

point so immaterial as the names, where Scripture had not recorded them, Paul takes the names which general opinion had assigned the magicians. EUSEBIUS [Preparation of the Gospel], quotes from NUMENIUS, "Jannes and Jambres were sacred scribes (a lower order of priests in Egypt) skilled in magic." HILLER interprets "Jannes" from the Abyssinian language a trickster, and "Jambres" a juggler" (Acts 13:8). resist--"withstand," as before. They did so by trying to rival Moses' miracles. So the false teachers shall exhibit lying wonders in the last days (Matthew 24:24, 2 Thessalonians 2:9, Revelation 13:14,15). reprobate--incapable of testing the truth (Romans 1:28) [BENGEL]. ALFORD takes passively, "not abiding the test";

rejected on being tested (Jeremiah 6:30).they shall proceed no further--Though for a time (2 Timothy 2:16) "they shall advance or proceed (English Version, 'increase') unto more ungodliness," yet there is a final limit beyond which they shall not be able to "proceed further" (Job 38:11, Rev 11:7,11). They themselves shall "wax worse and worse" (2 Timothy 3:13), but they shall at last be for ever prevented from seducing others. "Often malice proceeds deeper down, when it cannot extend itself" [BENGEL]. their folly--literally, "dementation": wise though they think themselves. shall be manifest--Greek, "shall be brought forth from concealment into open day" [BENGEL], (1 Corinthians 4:5).

as theirs . . . was--as that of those magicians was, when not only could they no longer try to rival Moses in sending boils, but the boils fell upon themselves: so as to the lice (Exodus 8:18, 9:11).

We see then that the magic of wizards, sorcery, and witchcraft will have its followers withstanding God's Holy Spirit as to their evidence of godhood but lacking the real power but Satan's counterfeit and deception.

2 Tim 3:10-17 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Paul contrasts his life as an example to all those that live godly in Christ Jesus and that they will suffer persecution even as he did. Paul encourages us to know the scriptures that one learned even as a child for evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived and pervert and twist the very Word of God. Paul reminds us that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and can be used to know true doctrine, for reproof or correction for those in error,  for instruction in righteousness and being made perfect through obedience of God's Holy Word be furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 41 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Rev 3:14 identifies Laodicean church with timeframe 3

Laodicea Church AgeRev 3:14-22 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. The Apostle Paul gives a charge (duty to fulfill) to endure affliction, do the work of an evangelist, travel and preach the Gospel and make full proof of your ministry (gifts of the Spirit) and preach God's Word at every turn with longsuffering and doctrine. Timothy is an example of what kind of men we are going to need in the end time.  Paul says they will not want to endure sound doctrine but heap to themselves teachers having itching hears to hear themselves being clapped for  and exalted saying things that feed the lusts of their flesh. These teachers and preachers will turn the truth into fables (nice legendary stores with a moral lesson).

 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 

  During the pre-rapture reign of antichrist (see timeframe 1, timeframe 2 and timeframe 3) there will be a great falling away because of the satanic deception and popularity of antichrist. He will deny the Father and Son relationship and replace God with a 'God of forces' (Daniel 11:36).  He will promote the worship of a new and strange god that he will honor with silver and gold but who in reality is Satan himself. To this church Jesus introduces Himself as the faithful and true witness of God as opposed to antichrist - the liar and false witness.  Jesus also introduces Himself as the beginning of the creation of God for He himself created all things in the beginning (Col 1:14-17). This is in contrast to the lie of Satan

through antichrist that creation evolved into what it is today.

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

To this church he says their works are neither hot or cold but lukewarm and this church is spewed out of his mouth.

This is what happens to this church at the rapture. Unlike the Philadelphia church which is kept from the trial that is coming upon the whole world by being raptured (Rev 3:10), this church is left behind.

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Jesus is seen standing outside the Laodicea Church because this church is to busy been caught up in prosperity, programs, and listening to preaching that makes them feel good but does not bring true repentance and salvation.

Jesus has not given up on this church and is standing outside and knocking on the door.   He is trying to reach the hearts of individuals to come out and sup and fellowship with Him for He alone can give them eternal life and deliver them from the time of trouble to come. Jesus sees their true spiritual condition as blind, poor, and naked and tells them to buy gold from Him. Gold symbolizes being partakers of God's divine nature which makes us joint heirs with Christ and truly rich. The gold of this world will do no good to anyone in the day of trouble for it will be worthless. Jesus prays that they allow the Holy Spirit to anoint their eyes and open them to the truth of their condition and deception. Meantime, the Philadelphia Church movement that began around the turn of

the 20th Century will be Spirit filled, evangelistic, and preaching the Gospel to the ends of the earth. During the Laodicean Church period they will be moving fully in the five fold ministries that have been restored fulfilling Eph 4:11-13 till Christ comes at the Rapture.

Ephesians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
