Julio 2012La ciudad de Eindhoven es conocida por estar vinculada directamente a temas relacionados con el diseño, la industria y la cultura. La presencia de empresas de gran relevancia mundial (Philips) , así como centros de investigación reconocidos (High Tech Campus y TUe) hace que sean muy habituales las actividades y eventos por toda la ciudad.

NatLab (1923) es el antiguo laboratorio de física de la empresa Philips. Este notable edi-ficio contiene una gran carga histórica ya que en él, se sentaron las bases para las invenciones que cambiaron el mundo. Fué el corazón de Strijp-S (antiguo complejo Philips).

La propuesta reunirá muchas de las actividades que en la zona de Strijp-S se desarrollan actual-mente (y que en un futuro próximo desaparecerán por la nueva intervención urbanística) y servirá de centro de monitorización de las que en la ciu-dad se vayan desarrollando.

The city of Eindhoven is known to be linked di-rectly to issues related to the design, industry and culture. The presence of highly relevant com-panies worldwide (Philips) and recognized research centers (High Tech Campus and TEU) makes them very usual activities and events throughout the city.

NatLab (1923) is the former laboratoryPhilips physics. This remarkable building has a great historical significance because in it, the foundations were laid for inventions that changed the world. It was the heart of Strijp-S (former Phi-lips complex).

The proposal would bring together many of the activities in the Strijp-S is currently developing (and disappear in the near future by the new urban intervention) and serve as the monitoring center in the city that are developed.

El intercambiador funcionará como un gran espacio contenedor basado en el concepto de “coworking” y trabajo co-laborativo dónde todas las disciplinas que intervengan puedan obtener inter-cambios de conocimiento unas de otras.

NatLab será el nuevo centro cultural y creativo de la zona de Strijp-S. Será el focalizador de la gran mayoría de actividades que actualmente se desa-rrollan dispersas en los edificios que cambiaran de funciónen los próximos años.

Los agentes que intervendrán son las actividades existens + los usos pro-puestos.

Proyecto de ejecución de carácter cons-tructivo y prefabricado.

Se trata de un edifi cio exento de PB +7 y con garaje en planta sótano en el que las ultimas 5plantas cuentan con 10 viviendas cada una (6 de tipo “A” + 4 de tipo “B”).

El uso característico el edifi cio es mixto, por una parte el residencial en las 5 plantas superiores.En cada una de estas existen salas de reunión común. Por otra, el de ofi cinas en las 2 plantasinferiores. y cuenta con la planta para locales comerciales.

Execution project and prefabricated characteristics.

This is a building free of PB +7 and basement garage in the last 5plants have 10 apartments each (6 “A” + 4 type “B”).

The characteristic use the building is mixed, on the one hand the residential top 5 fl oors.In each of these meeting rooms are com-mon. In addition, the offi ce on 2 levelslower. and has the commercial plant.

Monte Coto es una de las canteras más grandes de Europa de ex-tracción de bloques de piedra natural. Cerca de 400.00 toneladas se extraen anualmente para ser distribuidas mediante gran parte de las empresas de la comarca a todo el mundo.

Monte Coto is one of the largest European quarries extracting natural stone blocks. About 400.00 tons is extracted annually for distribution by large firms in the region to the entire world.

La ciudad de Amberes es la segunda más grande de Bélgica con cerca de 500.000 habitantes.El área de intervención donde se realiza el proyecto es parte de las estrategias que la ciudad propone como areas de nuevo desarrollo.

El proyecto propone que el área de “New Zurenborg” constituya un nuevo centro-ciudad de la ciudad de Amberes. Además, funcionara de transición entre la zona de viviendas y el anillo de circunvalación.

Antwerp is the second bigger city of Belgium with near means 500.000 inhabitants. The inter-vention area where the project is realized is part of one of the strategies that the city has been proposed as areas for redevelopment.

The “New Zurenborg” project will make the area the new center of the city of Antwerp and in addition, it will become the area a transition point from the housing area to the ring road.

El edificio se situa en el distrito de “New Zurenborg”. Esta área esta limitada por la auto-via de circunvalación de conexión regional y nacional, por el distrito de “Berchem”y por la antigua via de ferrocarril próxima a la estación “Antwerp-Berchem”.

Este auditorio esta situado cerca de la nueva estación de tren proyectada, localizada en el norte del área de intervención. con esto se le dará una nueva posición en la ciudad de manera que se aprovecharán las conexiones para dar uso a las actividades de la zona (co-mercio, negocios, eventos, espectaculos, etc..)

El diseño del edificio responte a las características interiores de éste. Quiere transmitir al exterior su imporante actividad, entre ellas la del auditorio, pieza clave del programa. Además, determina los accesos al edificio y sus circulaciones alrededor de él.

The building is located in “New Zurenborg” district, this area is mainly limited by the ring road with character regional and national, next to the district of “Berchem”, and by the old line of railroad next to the station “Antwerp-Berchem”.

This auditorium is placed close to the new projected train station located in the north of the zone of the proposal. With this, the area will have a high-priority position in the city, with all type of activities related to it (commerce, business, events, spectacles, etc..)

The designed blob-shape wants to show the fact that inside exist and important activity as the one in the auditorium, key factor of the program. This determines that the accesses to the building should be placed on the perimeter of it.

_ViviendaunifamiliarbioclimáticaysostenibleconrespuestaatresprogramasdiferentesenElCampello,Alicante.Bioclimátic and sustainable detached house with response to three diferent programas in El Campello, Alicante.__Universidad de Alicante. 2007.Se propone un modelo de vivienda bioclimática y sostenible donde por su diseño tienda a refrescarse en verano y a calentarse en invierno. Su orientación permite captar energía solar y hacerla autosuficiente.Está compuesta por dos volúmenes, uno para la zona de día, más abierto y de mayores dimensiones, y otro para la zona de noche más resguardada.El mayor volumen está en su mayoría acristalado y gracias a unas lamas permite controlar la incidencia del sol.Unas aberturas en amos lados permiten la ventilación cruzada.La vivienda da respuesta a tres situaciones programáticas gracias a sus tabiques móviles: cuatro estudiantes, una pareja con dos hijos y una pareja de ancianos.

It is proposed a model of bioclimatic and sustainable housing wich by its design tends to cool off in summer and warm in winter. Its orientation can capture solar energy and make it self-sufficient.It is composed of two volumes, one more opened and with larger dimensions for the day area and another one more protected for the night area.The largest volume is mostly glass and allows to control the incidence of the sun thanks to slats. Openings in both sides wich allow cross ventilation.The house responds to three programmatic situations through its mobile partitions: four students, a couple with two children and a elderly couple.

_AparcamientoyalquilerdebicicletasenLaHabana,CubaParking and bike rental in La Habana, Cuba.__Universidad de Alicante. 2007.

La bicicleta es un medio de transporte muy usado en Cuba, por esta razón se plantea en el Malecón un edificio que permita almacenarlas y alquilarlas.

Está formado a base de módulos que permiten desmontarlo y transportarlo a lugar segura cuando sea necesario debido al temporal que se da en determinadas fechas en esta zonan y puede dañarlo.

El edificio permite cerrar la cara que da al mar para evitar el impacto de grandes olas los días de gran marejada.

Bikes are a very used mean of transport in Cuba, for this reason a building at the waterfront promenade is proposed which allows to store and rent them.

It is formed of modules which allow disassemble and transport it to a safe place whe it is necessary due to the temporal formed on specific dates in this zone and that can damage it.

The building allows to close the side facing the sea to avoid the impact of the big waves the days of great heavy sea.

El paramento sobre el que se plantea el revestimiento se sitúa en un paseo en primera línea de playa.Las formas sinuosas del revestimiento se inspiran en formas orgánicas que presenta el mar y la costa.En la franja inferior se colocan listones de madera (material cálido de contacto que recuerda a la arena), en la interme-dia acero galvanizado (simula y muestra los reflejos del mar) y por último metacrilato opaco y chapa de acero desplega-do (representando las escamas del pez).

The facing where the coating is proposed is situated on a walk on the beachfront.The sinuous curves of the coating are inspired on the organics forms of the sea and the coast.In the lower band wooden slats are placed (warm material of contact that reminds the sand), ah the intermeidate band galvanized steel (it simulates and shows reflections of the sea) and finally opaque methacrylate and steel plate deplo-yed (this represents the scales of fish).

2007En esta propuesta se detalla el crecimiento de la población de Les Marines hacia el sur mediante la creación de sectores comunicados entre sí por un eje central colector.Los sectores comunican con las infraestructuras existentes y dotan a la población de nuevos equipamientos y residencias.En éstos se da prioridad al peatón frente al tráfico rodado ofre-ciendo una continuidad a lo largo de todo el sector.Existen tres tipologías: bloque exento, torre y viviendas adosadas.

In this proposal it is detailed the population growth of Les Marines to the south, by the creation of sectors communicated each other by a control axis collector.The sectors communicated with the existing infraestructures and endow the population of the new equipment and homes.The pedestrian ways are prioritized against the road traffic offe-ring a continuity along all the sector.

There are three typologies: free block, tower and attached houses.
