SUPPORTING BUSINESS
GROW SOMETHING BRILLIANT CAMPAIGN
NI CHAMBER NETWORKING SERIES
NI Chamber Connections, in
partnership with Ulster Bank, creates
a network of local businesses who
share common interests, goals and
challenges; helping them to help
each other and facilitating links to
new markets.
Programme support includes:
• A series of regional events, held
in companies across Northern
Ireland, that bring together
businesses under a common
theme and enable peer to peer
advice and learning
• Web support, signposting and
information through NI Chamber’s
newly enhanced growth web
portal
• Introductions to the Global
Chamber network who are ideally
positioned to support exporting
companies – whether entering
the market for the first time or
building connections on a post
trade mission follow up visit
• One to one advice from
experienced local businesses
willing to share their own
experiences.
The programme includes
five regional events per annum.
NI CHAMBER CONNECTIONS
CONNECTING FOR GROWTH
The Connecting for Growth

Buyer events and improving sales
opportunities through networking
and advice.
Programme participation includes:
• One to one pre-arranged
appointments, where companies
are able to make a pitch to large
buying companies across a range
of sectors
• Advice from key experts on
a range of business themes,
delivered in bite size sessions
• Facilitated networking,
increasing cross border business
opportunities.
This initiative consists of an annual

Growing Something Brilliant (GSB), in
partnership with Electric Ireland, is a
campaign by NI Chamber that aims to inspire
local business people to grow their business,
employ more people and find new markets.
NI Chamber believes that by Growing
Something Brilliant we will develop our
economy, under our own steam and driven by
our own energy, commitment and ambition.
Through inspirational stories, and by
businesses helping each other the campaign
aims to achieve the following objectives:
• to increase business confidence
• to inspire more businesses to set up and
grow through innovation, leadership and
export
• to help as many smaller companies as
practical move successfully and profitably
into export markets
Now in its fourth year, the GSB Campaign
has seen three major conferences and seven
events with over 23 inspirational speakers
and 2350 attendees.
Networking is the single most powerful
marketing tool you can use to accelerate
and sustain success for your business.
NI Chamber, in partnership with First
Trust Bank, will continue the ever popular
Networking Series throughout 2016,
generously hosted by member companies
right across Northern Ireland.
The events attract 100+ delegates, enabling
attendees to develop new and existing
business contacts. NI Chamber articulates the views
and needs of our members to
key decision-makers in local and
central government, who consult
us for feedback from the business
community when setting policy
locally and nationally. Additionally,
our Quarterly Economic Survey in
partnership with BDO is a highly
respected, authoritative piece
of research which influences the
Bank of England and Government
decision-making. NI Chamber
also provides members with
opportunities to engage with
Government directly via a number
of events.
For Access events, priority will be given to Growth and Corporate members.
Minister on the Move, in partnership
with SSE Airtricity, is a series of
regional events with Ministers from
the NI Executive, with each event
hosted by a great local business.
The Minister on the Move series
aims to address opportunities of
growth around areas such as public
procurement and share best practice
from world class companies such as
Caterpillar (NI) Limited, SDC Trailers
Ltd and Randox Laboratories.
The format for the events includes
a ministerial address and an open
forum for delegates to engage with
the Minister and discuss pertinent
issues regarding growth and what
NI Executive can do to help grow the
private sector. The host company
then shares their success story
as well as provide a tour of their
facilities.
MINISTER ON THE MOVE SERIES
IN CAMERA SERIESThe Oxford English dictionary
defines ‘In Camera’ as to be kept
private or confined.
The In Camera series provides
NI Chamber members with the
opportunity to network and engage
with top level Government officials in
an intimate setting. It also provides
the various departments with an
opportunity to outline their roles, the
current challenges they are facing
and to engage with businesses in
support of their key objectives.
As it is in camera, nothing can be
reported or attributed to any of the
guests or speakers.
As the guest list is limited, the
events are enjoyable, stimulating and
intimate occasions ensuring guests
leave with all questions answered.
Attending an in camera dinner will
enhance your networking profile
and build relationships by direct
interaction and exchange of views
with key speakers, as well as other
NI Chamber members.
