Self-Introduction
Hey Key Clubbers, how does it feel
to be back from DCON 2013? I
don’t know about you, but it just
makes me more and more pumped to
serve you all for this coming year.
If you do not know who I am, well
then I apologize. My name is Amy
Liu, and I am your new Lieutenant
Governor (Lt. G) for the year 2013-
2014. I am from Bremerton high
school, and I am currently a junior,
16 years old and turning 17 on the
20th of this month! I am so excited to
share my last year of high school
serving Key Club with you guys by
my side. I can already tell it will be a
year full of goal setting and goal
succeeding as well as making new
friends and learning new things.
Although we have many schools in
our division, I can’t feel our spirit…
So this year, I’ll make sure we ROCK
THE HOUSE at DCON 2014!
HEY KEY CLUBBERS, HOW DO HEY KEY CLUBBERS, HOW DO HEY KEY CLUBBERS, HOW DO HEY KEY CLUBBERS, HOW DO
YOU FEEL?YOU FEEL?YOU FEEL?YOU FEEL?
You better be feeling good and
raising up those hands for a rapper
styling TOASTY.

Many people say that I look intimidating, so if that’s
how you see me at first, I am sorry! I’m the opposite of
intimidating, more than anything, I am a pushover. I love
having fun and I am clumsy, so I’m sorry if I trip and fall
when we meet. I promise I’ll try my best to balance!

A farewell to our beloved Lieutenant Governor of the year 2012-2013
Oh Rich… Richy Rich… Richard… You are, without a doubt,
one heck of a guy! You are definitely not what meets the
eye and by far, you are one of the most interesting people I
have met all year.
I am so glad that I am your innie because you are so nice
and you actually try to befriend your innie, unlike those who
treat them as eyesores.
You’re a very intelligent guy who knows when things are,
and are not very apro-pro. You can flip, like a switch,
between professional, and normal. It will definitely be hard
to fill your shoes as being that “one guy” who is funny gets
along with everyone on the board.
I still feel really bad about drinking your try at the traditional
innie will… I will definitely create a tradition in your honor,
and I hope that I will have done our division as proud as you
have.
You will definitely go very far in life.
Love Always,
Amy Liu
I’d just like to day that all the key
clubbers in divisions 19/36 have been
such a tremendous blessing to befriend
and serve with. You guys are what
makes Key Club, Key Club. What Key
Club is to me is family. And all you
guys are family. I can't wait to see what's
in store this year! Amy is a rockin’ Lt. G
and will be committed to making this
the best year yet. I’ll see you all later!

DCON 2013
Hey Key Clubbers, how was
your time at DCON? Mine
was filled with work, but it
was still a BLAST,
nonetheless.
If you have not attended
DCON at all, you MUST. I
feel like it should be a
requirement for all Key
Clubbers to attend a district
convention some time
during their membership
into Key Club because it is
definitely an experience
you will regret not having.
It is honestly more fun than
homecoming and tolo
combined. At DCON, not
only will you make new
friends, you will meet cute
boys and girls from all over
the PNW… ooh la-la
indeed. I’m not saying that
the only reason someone
should join Key Club is
DCON, but it is a very good
experience to have before
going to college. Please do
not recruit any members by
saying the only reason they
should join is DCON; DCON
is like a reward we earn for
doing all the service we do.
It would break my heart to
see people taking
advantage of Key Club in
that way. But anyways, if
you are thinking about it,
think no more and just DO
IT. #YOLO, SON.
1. Increasing Membership
2. Improving Relationships
3. Having Fun
4. Do many divisional projects
5. Design and sell apparel!
6. Make it the BEST YEAR YET
1. Increasing Membership
The reason I want to do this is
because Key Club has so much to offer
people. It can affect people in a good
way and being in Key Club has allowed
me opportunities to get closer to my
peers as well as making new friends
along the way.
2. Improving Relationships
What I mean by this is improving
relationships among the clubs in our
divisions. I want our division to be
together as a whole and to have all of us
already know some people from other
schools. With this goal, I pretty much just
want to unite us all and just have a really
great time while doing it.
3. Having Fun
Aside from taking our roles
seriously, we are here to have fun. I don’t
want a division full of mopey people, I
want us all to enjoy the time we have left
with Key Club and even more, enjoy the
precious time we have left in high school.
I’m sure no one is here to not have fun,
anyways.
4. Do many Divisional Projects
Yes, divisional projects! I’m hoping that we can raise a lot of
money to donate to KCCP, UNICEF, or March of Dimes. In all of the
years that I have been in Key Club, I have never once done any
divisional projects where we get together with other Key Clubs in our
division to do ANYTHING. I think this’ll be a success, and it’ll be fun. ;D
Just wait, I am SO PUMPED.
5. Design and Sell Apparel
With this, we can be raising money all year as well as have
really cool, unique shirts, hoodies, and sweats we can rock. I’ll
probably hold a lot of drawing contests within this year, so be
prepared to submit a drawing. Be sure to tell any key clubber in our
division about this!
Don’t forget about our divisional shirts for DCON! The contest
for that will be held all year!
6. Make it the BEST YEAR YET
Let’s show Class of 2013 that it sucks to be graduating
because this year will be the BEST. Let’s make lifelong memories and
lifelong habits. Let’s make serving fun and let’s eliminate the social
cliques that exist outside of Key Club, and serve the community and
ourselves without prejudice.
My goals for this year

If you thought you enjoyed DCON, well, then I’m sure you’ll enjoy ICON even more! Unlike DCON,
ICON is not only Key Clubbers from the PNW, but of various other places too! This year at DCON, we
were inspired by ICON to exchange pins, however, not everyone had pins *sad face*. At ICON,
everyone has pins, including us, yay! That means we get to meet other people, exchange pins with
them, and make new friends. Doesn’t that sound really exciting?
This year’s ICON will be held at Washington D.C. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve always
wanted to visit the other Washington. This year, we will not only be attending the international
convention, we will also be touring around DC for a few days before and after. We will be in DC from
July 1-8, ICON will be the 3-6.
To everyone who is thinking about being Lt. G or a district position next year, it would be a pretty
good idea to go to ICON to get to know everyone beforehand. Even if you aren’t planning on
running for anything, this would be a great experience to have. To all those graduating this year, I
hope you all go to ICON so you can all leave Key Club with a BANG!
Hope to see you there~

Divisional T-Shirts:
This will be the shirts we rep at DCON. The
types of designs we usually see at DCON is
adorable and cartoon-like. It would be pretty cool
to see someone design a swanky tee we could rep
as a whole division. But of course, you don’t have
to buy one for DCON, and you can buy one even
if you’re not attending.
Divisional PinsDivisional PinsDivisional PinsDivisional Pins:
This is the pin that we will be trading with other
divisions at DCON (or you could just order a couple for
yourself if you’re not attending). It’s a great way to break
the ice with some people, and it’ll be cool walking
around like a BOSS with all those different divisional
pins on your lanyard.
These pins can be cute or plain or rockin’. Up to the
voters and the designers, right? :) I am thinking about
three designs will make it to DCON.
